Very Good condition - U.S. Enfield - rifle - 26" rnd, dated "8-18" barrel - unmarked scant pistol grip black walnut stock with upper handguards - stock equipped with sling swivels, stacker hook, bayonet lug, finger groove and a trapdoor buttplate - stock faintly marked "3G" on left side just below rear sight - stock and handguards remain in EXCELLENT sound condition with few light handling/battle marks - blue - retains about 85%+ finish with loss to muzzle and sharp edges, as well as thinning finish to magazine floorplate and barrel band - Markings: crisp & legible- flaming bomb on receiver rail and bolt handle, underneath of bolt handle marked "E", rear sight base also marked "E", as well as the bolt release - protected blade front sight/adjustable rear battle sight graduated from 2 to 16 - bolt action - possible WWI service and more probable WWII service - dark bore condition, however could use a cleaning - mechanics appear to be in good working order - Yr.
