Dealer label in neck area reading: "Claret & Cia Civil e Militar". Buenos Aires. Medal loop on left chest. Black lining with chest area in diamond pattern. Of light robin's egg blue wool with stand-up collar of yellow with a forward patch of body color embroidered with a crescent and the numeral 24 within. Front with nine spherical brass buttons. Sleeves embroidered with large woven knot of bullion wire. Elbow to front edge ornately decorated with bullion wire and row of small gold-finished balls. Robin's egg blue satin lining.
