WELCOME TO THE AUCTION

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 1 of 170)

Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the description, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned....more

Lot # 24 (Sale Order: 25 of 170)

1892 World's Columbian Exposition. The 1892 is the rarer of the 1892 and 1893. The Columbus Half dollar along with the Isabella Quarter were minted in honor of the 400th anniversary of Columbus' voyage to the new world. It was first distributed at the worlds fair honoring that voyage. When examining a Columbian Exposition half dollar The first points to show wear are Columbus’ eyebrow, cheek and the hair behind his forehead and jaw. On the reverse, check the foresail and mainsail, as well as the right side of the Eastern Hemisphere. Wild Proof Like example. Great deep mirrored fields. Very scarce in Proof Like! - PCGS and NGC don't even have any prices listed for PL, that's how scarce it is. These fields are deep and sharp. I can see a full 8 inches deep into them. A super example. A Corey's Pick. Graded Choice Uncirculated PL by USCG....more
