Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver

serial #71762SA, 357 Magnum, 4 3/4" barrel with an excellent bore. This six gun is in lovely condition with about 99% original blue and no turn ring on the cylinder. There are a few operational marks on the sides of the hammer. The case-hardened colors on the frame are a kaleidoscopic blend of blue, straw, gray and purple. The black checkered synthetic factory eagle grips are in like new condition. This gun has it all: little or no use, desirable short barrel, versatile caliber for the non-reloader and wonderful condition for the collector. A very nice second genny. (87751-20) {C&R}

This beautiful condition revolver retains about 99% original blue and case-hardened colors with a very light turn ring on the cylinder and a few minor handling marks. The case-hardened colors on the frame are a flowing mix of blues, purples and straw that remain in excellent condition. The checkered plastic factory eagle grips are correctly numbered to the gun and are in like new condition. All appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun. Included with the gun is the original factory stagecoach box that is correctly end labeled to the gun. The box is in very good condition with light storage wear and slight soiling. The checkered walnut factory grips with gold Colt medallions rate like new. Aside from the standard features found on a model 1911A1 this gun is equipped with a Patridge front sight, fully adjustable factory Accro rear sight and a floating chamber. The pistol includes the original woodgrain and Styrofoam factory box that is correctly end labeled and numbered to the gun, a single correct magazine, manual, hang tag and paperwork. serial #1539-NM, 45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent bore. This first year production pistol retains about 98% original royal blue with scattered light scratches and handling marks. The fully checkered walnut factory grips with gold Colt medallions rate excellent with minor wear. These early pistols featured black blade Patridge front sights, fully adjustable black blade factory Accro rear sights, beveled recoil spring plug and beveled barrel bushing. The factory basically hand fitted the parts and incorporated changes to increase accuracy, reliability, handling and even modifications to reduce damage to empty casings. The pistol includes a two-piece period "Gold Cup" box that is correctly labeled to the gun but is not numbered. The box rates very good plus with light scuffing on the edges, faint soiling and the bottom section has one torn corner. The gun includes a single Colt magazine. serial #B1834, .50 2 1/2"(50-90), 30" heavy octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel retains 99% plus original matte blue finish while the frame, lever, hammer and military style steel buttplate retain about 90% vibrant case color. There is a small amount of graying on the right side of the frame which may have come from the factory. The extra fancy walnut forearm and military style buttstock rate excellent and have lots of rich figure. The forearm features a factory pewter tip. Rifle also features double set triggers and a Montana Vintage Arms gold plate combination front sight and combination sporting tang sight with aperture. The rear of the barrel has the dovetail for a rear sight as well which is currently filled with a slot blank. A wonderful custom order from this premier U.S. rifle maker, a copy of the original receipt is included. Rare Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 Hartford Commemorative Falling Block Rifle

serial #B054, .45 2 1/10" (45-70), 30" Heavy Octagon Barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel retains about 99% plus original polished blue, while the frame, lever and hammer retain a similar amount of vibrant factory case color. The crescent steel silver plated buttplate has a mild tarnish. This limited production rifle features presentation grade highly figured walnut stocks, the forearm having a factory pewter tip. Rifle is equipped with a silver blade front sight and Lawrence ladder buckhorn rear. Other features include a silver banded Hartford collar, dual set triggers, polished fire blue screws and tarnished silver plates on the frame, one housing the serial number on the tang and the other "HARTFORD * MODEL" on the right side. Originally there was supposed to be 100 of these special rifles made for a sporting goods store in Montana. Possibly only about 60 were completed and numbered in a special range. Each was made as listed above making this a rare and stunning limited production Shiloh that will only increase in value over time. A certificate of authenticity dated "9/9/98" and made out to the original buyer and matching Montana Silversmiths commemorative belt buckle are included. The gun will require the slightest amount of mechanical attention as the top lever will not return to center, it will likely need a good cleaning as the mechanism feels slightly gummed up. This late 1970 made revolver retains about 90% plus original blue finish with most of the loss due to high edge wear, turn rings on the cylinder, a few light dings on the barrel lug and other handling marks. The un-numbered checkered walnut factory target grips with silver Colt medallions rate good to very good with light compression of the diamond points, limited flaking finish, a few minor chips on the backstrap portion of the left panel, scratches, dents and a few dings. The revolver features adjustable Colt Accro rear sight and black blade ramp front sight. Timing is excellent and lock up is typical Colt bank vault tight.
