1966 JAGUAR XKE SERIES I ROADSTER

This beautiful 1966 Jaguar Series I E-type roadster has received a comprehensive no-expense-spared documented restoration by well-known Jaguar professionals. The XKE is in a spectacular color combination of red over a black interior and has benefited from an extensive list of high-performance upgrades and comfort options. During the XKEs restoration it was stripped to down to bare metal then painted wet sanded and buffed to its beautiful finish. The interior of the roadster has been trimmed with a new BASS interior complemented with restored bows and a new soft-top. Under the bonnet the E-Types engine and suspension were completely rebuilt and all other systems were carefully gone through to ensure great driving pleasure. The roadster features a number of mechanical and performance upgrades which includes rebuilding the 4.2-liter with overhead cam engine headers triple SU carburetors a 5-speed fully synchronized transmission and high-torque starter. It also has a stainless-steel exhaust Gaz adjustable shocks Wilwood brakes braided stainless brake lines an alloy radiator with auxiliary fan and poly bushings throughout. Since the restoration the roadster has been well cared for and has been recently sorted by marque specialists at Classic Showcase of Oceanside CA. Its also equipped with optimal performance upgrades and desirable Series I features such as covered headlights comfortable bucket seats toggle switches on the dash fabulous instrumentation a center console and arm rest. 1967 PORSCHE 911S

This fully restored first-generation 911S is a matching-numbers example in its original spectacular color combination of 6606 Irish Green over brown with brown houndstooth cloth inserts on the seats. The car was built for its home-market where the Mannheim-based Islinger Porsche agency delivered it to the first owner ex-racing driver Mr. Wilhelm Sebastian of Weinheim Germany. In recent years the 911S has benefitted from a comprehensive restoration to the body paint interior and engine. It was purchased by tennis star Jimmy Connors who gave it to his wife 1977 Playboy Playmate of the Year Patti McGuire. In 2013 a complete restoration was performed by renowned Shelby experts. There are only 47 GT500KR convertibles with this color combination. This car won gold at the SAAC-39 in Division II gold at Mid-America Ford Team Shelby as well as gold at Muscle Car Nationals. This is #006 competition Cheetah built at Bill Thomas Race Cars in Anaheim CA. It was ordered new in 64 by Jack Goodman owner of Clarence Dixon Cadillac Dealer in Hollywood CA. It is one of 15 known to survive in the world today. This is the only Cheetah ever built and raced with the famous Corvette heavy-duty 427ci L88 aluminum-head racing engine option. Complete nut-and-bolt museum-quality restoration by BTM LLC of Arizona. It currently has the lowest-mile 1967 genuine Corvette 427ci L88 IT-code crate engine. The 67 M22 Muncie 4-speed manual transmission was also rebuilt as was the heavy-duty 4.11 rear axle. This Cheetah still retains its original 4130 chromoly chassis and suspension complete original fiberglass body and original fiberglass and aluminum interior. It has a documented full ownership history of seven owners since April 1964. It was titled and licensed for street use by the third owner in 1969 in Utah. The ID number is visible on the front upper frame rail. It has five years of SCCA/FIA racing history at Times Grand Prix (Riverside) Laguna Seca (Monterey) Willow Springs Pomona Bend (Oregon) Odessa (Texas) Star Dust War Bonnet Davis Monthan AFB (Tucson AZ) Santa Barbara Airport #2 (Utah). It was 1968 Southern Pacific region SCCA A/SR Champion with the 427 L88. The drivers were Jack Goodman Mike Jones Ralf Piccard Jim Phillips and Sid Harmon. The numbers it has raced with are #1 #11 #33 #72. This car was the first Bill Thomas Cheetah ever to attend Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016. It was ordered new with Corvette Sebring Silver body color black interior 327/375hp fuel-injected Corvette engine 4-speed Muncie transmission triple fuel tanks inside spare tire American Racing wheels and Goodyear Blue Streaks tires. Evolving over three years of racing it was upgraded by Bill Thomas in April 1965 with a wide body Ansen rear wheels with Firestone Indy tires dual Corvette radiators upgraded heavy-duty chassis for the new 396/425hp Corvette engine and M22 Muncie Rock Crusher and disc brakes. It was also upgraded in April 1967 with the new Corvette heavy-duty 427ci L88 aluminum-head racing engine.

They are the most significant Firebirds ever produced and a huge piece of GM and automotive history built at the Pontiac Lordstown OH assembly plant in early 1967. The body tags on each are labeled Show Body 1 on this convertible and Show Body 4 on the coupe. Both cars were used for auto show and advertising purposes before being eventually released and sold. By 1966 the race was really heating up between the big three manufacturers to dominate the pony-car muscle movement that had become so hot. The release of Firebird in 1967 came about under the direction of John DeLorean as a Vice President of General Motors and Pontiac Division General Manager. Pontiacs Chief Design Engineer Jack Humbert was assigned the task of developing the car. He commissioned his very best Pontiac designers for the job. The Firebird was born with a uniquely different appearance and engineering features than its sister car the Camaro although they shared a common body structure. Visually the Pontiac F-body as it was called came with a split-nose grille and chrome bumper a lowered stance wide oval tires horizontal headlights and taillights along with Rally-style side vents. The new Firebird certainly stood out from the crowd. Although Pontiac Firebird was a late entry to the race in January 1967 the car dominated not only in popularity and performance but sales went through the roof. The 1967 Firebird dominated the Pontiac showrooms as well selling in excess of 82000 units that first year even with a late release. Both this convertible and the VIN #002 coupe are very significant Firebirds that were found together; they have been together all these years and never separated. 1930 DUESENBERG J DUAL-COWL PHAETON

This handsome elegant and well-restored example is bodied in the style of the elegant factory catalog LaGrande Dual-Cowl Phaeton. It has been extremely well-restored to a very high standard and presents in beautiful condition. With a new replacement rolling chassis outfitted from the ground-up with original parts the drivetrain was mated and the project moved to the next phase. A replacement body was needed for the chassis so they commissioned this stunning LaGrande-style dual-cowl phaeton coachwork; a beautiful and a highly accurate representation of the original. Since the restoration was completed the car remains in excellent condition throughout. The dark red main body and fenders are accented by a brighter red cove and rear body section a signature flare of Gordon Buehrigs pen. The quality of the paintwork is excellent and showing only the very slightest wear. The extensive authentic chrome trim and brightwork is gleaming. Starting from the front end with its unmistakable radiator grille it wears a pair of genuine Pilot-Ray spot lamps twin trumpet horns dual sidemount spares six chrome wire wheels wearing fresh Firestone 7.00-19 wide whitewall tires a semi-integrated upholstered trunk and twin rear lamps. The detailing is exquisite and the car is quite stunning to behold in person. The red paintwork is complemented by a leather interior which has been artfully crafted from tan hides. Dark red carpets are in excellent order and the top is trimmed in black canvas. Duesenbergs signature engine-turned alloy dash panel is fitted with a full set of original instruments. This being a dual-cowl phaeton rear passengers are treated to their own protective cowl and folding windscreen ensuring comfort when traveling at the kind of speeds a Model J is capable of. Beneath the long elegant hood sits a proper 420/265hp inline-8 engine finished in signature Duesenberg Green with gorgeous polished alloy cam covers polished firewall and bright stainless flex-pipe exhaust passing through the hood sides. The J520-sourced engine runs strong and has benefitted from a recent service by local marque experts. The dedication of the restorers shines through on this gorgeous automobile. A testament to the quality and fine detailing it earned a CCCA Senior Award in 2002. 4-speed manual transmission.

1930 DELAGE D8 CABRIOLET

Chassis #34738 was bodied by the renowned French coachbuilder Henri Chapron and is the only Chapron-bodied D8 C known to survive today. Chapron was known not only for his impeccable understated style but also for the exceptional build quality he imparted in his automobiles. Rather unusually this beautiful Delage was not originally registered in France but rather in Renfrewshire Scotland on July 14 1931 as HS6322 (a registration number which remains with the car to this day). By 1939 it had changed hands to Roland Stanley Bevan of Taunton Somerset who maintained it for 20 years after which it was purchased by Douglas Henry Shrimpton of Dorset. Subsequently around 1960 the car was purchased by Vojta Mashek a renowned early French automobile collector from Chicago. In 1966 Mashek sold the Delage to Homer Fitterling of South Bend IN. Fitterling was well known for among other things an every-year collection of Corvettes a great number of Duesenbergs and this very Delage which he reportedly used to tow the Duesenbergs to shows. The most recent caretaker a longtime collector in the Midwest purchased the Delage from Fitterling in 1973. It was intact solid and ran well but it was ready for restoration. Between 1992 and 1994 the job was entrusted to the renowned facility of LaVine Restorations of Nappanee IN. Subsequently the car was displayed at the 1994 Meadow Brook Concours d Elegance and from 2004 to 2007 was exhibited at the ACD Automobile Museum in Auburn IN in their Gallery of Classics. Though now two decades old the restoration presents exceedingly well having been carefully freshened with new Aubergine paint on the main body complementing the black fenders. The style is conservative but extremely elegant featuring a close-coupled style body with a long bonnet gracefully formed cycle fenders and fabulous torpedo-shaped running boards with integrated storage boxes. A large cabriolet top with exposed irons looks elegant up or down and an upholstered trunk rounds out the look. This is a fabulous-looking automobile from any angle. The light gray leather seating presents in outstanding condition and is trimmed by exquisite inlaid woodwork on the dash and door panels. The Jaegar instruments are faced in cream to contrast the dark wood. The body features excellent brightwork and the engine compartment has been superbly detailed having been lightly used while in the stewardship of the last owner. It is offered with an extensive history file covering its ownership and restoration including correspondence with Delage registrar and historian Peter Jacobs as well as a copy of the Profile Publications volume on the D8 in which this car is pictured.

This Type A135 is powered by a 3995cc overhead-valve Inline 6-cylinder engine with 125hp and 4-speed manual transmission. It features independent front suspension with coil springs a solid rear beam axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and 4-wheel drum brakes. With a 3353mm wheelbase chassis #DH2-12785 was completed with hearse coachwork by Arthur Mulliner Ltd. of North Hampton. Initially acquired by a generations-old mortuary Ann Bonham & Son the Austin hearse was purchased in August 1971 by John Lennon as reflected by an original registration document that features the legendary musicians printed name and his signature. After extensive use in the filming of Imagine Lennon unusually customized the Princess with two rows of airline seats (complete with ashtray arms) the perfect modification for a rock star and his family. In 2008 the car was donated to the Austin Rock & Roll Car Museum. 1971 FERRARI 365 GTB/4 DAYTONA SPIDER CONVERSION

The engine of this Ferrari known as the Tipo 251 was developed from the earlier Colombo V12 used in the 275 GTB/4. It features six Weber twin carburetors. This engine produced 352hp with a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 5.4 seconds. The generally accepted total number of Daytonas from the Ferrari Club historians is 1406 over the life of the model. All bodies except the first Pininfarina prototype were produced by Italian coachbuilder Scaglietti which at the time already had a reputable record of working with Ferrari. This is a matching-numbers 365 GTB/4 coupe. The car was professionally converted in the 80s to a 365 GTB/4 Spider by coachbuilder Richard Straman. This car has been owned by the same owner for more than 20 years. It has new Ferrari Fly Yellow paint and a new leather interior with a new set of Borrani wire wheels. The car has 80574 original miles since new - less than 2000 miles per year. This car runs and drives great.

This 1932 Rolls-Royce Springfield Phantom II is documented by the Rolls-Royce Foundation as a re-bodied Henley Roadster by Brewster and Company and has undergone a recent ground-up restoration. The wire wheels were recently restored and feature all-new chrome and new spokes. The exterior is newly painted in dark blue custom urethane paint. There is a new leather interior and new wool carpets with new matching canvas convertible top. All chrome has been refinished and there are new rubber seals throughout the car. It has new glass and all interior wood trim was refinished. 6-cylinder 7.6-liter engine with 4-speed manual transmission.

One of the rarest Auburns produced the Murphy-inspired coachwork features long sweeping lines a tall grille and a characteristically short windshield. It is nothing short or gorgeous. The Auburn 12 was one of the most powerful engines offered in 1933 for a road-going car and as such set several speed records that stood for several years. Delivered new to Lee Sturla of Sacramento CA it was sold to Wayne Hersted of Tacoma WA next. After that it passed to the custodianship of Bob Larrabee a wealthy collector who in the 1980s commissioned a no-expense-spared restoration of the car. It was judged in 1984 and again in 1992 by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club to be a Category One example with its original Lycoming V12 chassis number 1156 and convertible phaeton sedan bodywork built by Limousine Body Company. Certificates accompany the car. Today this rare Auburn shows extremely well with its opulent styling. The paint quality is gorgeous and the exterior brightwork is excellent including chrome knockoff wire wheels. The beltline trim is very elegant. The engine compartment is correctly detailed and unmodified. This car has been freshly serviced and is ready to show or tour. Representing the height of the brands styling it serves as one of the finest cars produced from the Auburn car company. 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive.

This beautiful 1933 Packard Super 8 Touring 5/7-passenger has a great history. It was owned for many years by Will Hank an early board member of the Packards International Club. It was Packards Internationals magazine cover car in the summer of 1969. It has black-and-gold California license plates issued in the 1960s. It is the third 1933 Packard Super 8 1004 Touring built based on its original data plate serial number 650-12. Its titled to the correct and original 1933 Super 8 engine number 750406. Although it was restored quite some time ago it has good maintenance and careful owners. Many optional features include dual Trippe lights dual spotlights side-mount mirrors Goddess of Speed hood ornament and trunk. It is finished in a copper and ivory color scheme with pinstriping. A wonderful and powerful touring car from the peak of the classic era.

This Rolls-Royce Boattail Speedster originally started life as a 4-door sedan. During the bombing of London in 1939 GR063 was given to the war effort and converted to an ambulance hearse and saw heroic service throughout the entire war. In the mid-1980s it found its way to Los Angeles as a shot-up derelict and was stripped of its offending coachwork restored and displayed as originally delivered by the factory. After 25 years it was decided that it was time to give GR063 a new life as a very special speedster. In January 2011 a completely new and original body was designed incorporating many new elements including moving the engine transmission and firewall back 18 giving improved balance and handling as well as a more pleasing look. The emergency brake was moved to the outside of the body and new factory rods and inserts were installed. Unibody construction was utilized for strength and a total weight savings of over 2500 lbs. The single hood hinge was replaced with twin hinges to match the shape of the iconic Rolls-Royce radiator. The final result was a much more refined and balanced look. Since completion the speedster has been shown in competition 15 times winning top awards in all outings including Pasadena Art School of Design Peoples Choice Caruso Concours dElegance Peoples Choice and Grand National Roadster Show. 4.25-liter 6-cylinder engine with manual transmission.
