Of thickly corded cream pique with colorful interwoven threads, the dress features a fitted bodice with rounded neckline, pagoda-shaped sleeves, very full skirt with cartridge pleats at the waist, and wide bretelles which form into long full-length panels. The dress is trimmed with scallops at the neckline, sleeves and bretelles which are edged by hand-stitched red embroidery, and with zig-zag braid at the yoke and down the entire front panels.
