The barrel and magazine tube retain 80% original blue with flaking to brown along the edges, a few small dings near front of barrel and a couple small spots of oxidation staining. The plain walnut stock rates very good as-refinished with the upper tang being proud of wood, a few small chips around the tangs, scattered handling marks and light scratches. The carbine is sighted with a leaf rear sight and blade front sight. A saddle ring and saddle ring stud are present on the left side of the frame. A good example for the budding Winchester collector.
