Offered for sale is an excellent rare Marlin Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle chambered in .22 long rifle caliber. The rifle features a 24" octagon barrel, adjustable pronghorn rear sight by Marbles Gladstone Michigan U.S.A., German silver front blade, full length tube magazine, takedown special-order design, and blue'd finish. This rifle is in good condition, with handling marks and wear to finish. The mechanics are tight and smooth. The bore is shiny with good rifling, has some pitting. It looks to have four drilled and tapped holes on the barrel. The barrel is marked, “Marlin Firearms Co. NEW HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. / PAT’D NOV. 19. 1878. APRIL 2. 1889, AUG. 12. 1890, MAR. 1. 1892.” The rifle was manufactured from circa 1907 to 1920’s. This is a Curio & Relic firearm, FFL transfer or NICS background check required. This is a Hiongshi O/U factory engraved shotgun chambered for 12 gauge. The shotgun has a blued steel vented rib barrel with a bright finished receiver and premium deluxe solid walnut hardwood checkered stocks. The receiver shows wonderfully engraved ducks on each sides with the bottom being marked "Hiongshi". The right side of the barrel is marked "Jingan China CAI Georgia VT. JALS12-103" and the left side is marked "12GA 2 3/4" Chamber Full/Mod. Choke". The shotgun is in good condition. It measures 45.75" long overall with a 29.5" barrel. Serial number is 00K0779. This firearm requires an FFL Transfer or a NOCS Background Check.

The shotgun features a 30" barrel, full fixed choke, takedown design, walnut stock, bottom ejection, front bead sight, and blue'd finish. The Remington model 29 is a updated version of the Remington model 10, The Remington Model 10 is a pump-action shotgun designed by John Pedersen with an internal hammer and a tube magazine which loaded and ejected from a port in the bottom of the receiver. The Model 29, was introduced in 1930 with improvements made by C.C. Loomis. The shotgun shows good condition, with wear to the finish and handling marks(review photos). The mechanics are smooth with good function, looks to need cleaning. Missing magazine follower and spring. The bore is is bright. This is shotgun was manufactured between 1929-1933. The case and lorgnette are marked in gold of the coat of arms of the clan of Colquhoun. The case looks to be made of lizard skin and the lorgnette are made of tortoise shell. The gold is French hallmarked with a eagle head for 18k gold. The piece is in good condition, with a small chip on the glass frame. The glasses have not been tested or confirmed as Tortoise shell, these could be authentic tortious shell of an antique age or imitation shell. The case measures 6 1/2" long, and 1 3/4" wide.

This rug is no exception, with multiple striking horizontal bands of soft earth tones, and alternating weft colors referred to as railroad tracks. The rug shows very good condition, with no apparent color bleeding or tears in th weft. The rug measures 29 1/2" long, and 18 3/4" wide. The rug is of an earlier age and shows some of the finest tight hand knotting of any Wide Ruins pattern rug we have offered for sale, truly an excellent piece.

Large Antique Cast Iron Candelabrum

The fine candelabrum shows two piece construction, tapped and threaded in the middle - at the bottom of the spiral portion of the stand. At the top of the candelabrum, there is a decorative central finial, flanked by six ornate cast candle holders. Each candle holder utilizes a central spike to securely hold your candles. The candelabrum stands steadfast on a three point base, each leg showing gorgeous spiral accents. The piece measures 57 1/4" tall, and 17" wide and deep.

The border includes symmetrical angular hooks, while the center shows an intricate medallion, flanked by embellished triangles at each corner. In addition to the master design, the rug shows an exceptional knot count. Overall, the rug is in very-good condition, exhibiting very little edge wear, or separation to the weft. Sioux Fully Beaded Moccasins 1890-1910 Sinew Sewn

Lot # 20 (Sale Order: 20 of 517)      

The lot features a set of wonderful fully top beaded moccasins from the Sioux Native American Indians dating to circa 1890-1900’s. The moccasins feature an Indian tanned Great American Bison Buffalo hide construction with period correct early glass trade seed beadwork and commercial tanned harness saddle trade leather soles all being sinew sewn, a true attribute of its early age. The harness cowboy leather soles show excellent authentic wear and patina and are a rare find on early authentic moccasins as most sets show a parfleche base. The set has an intricate and exquisite traditional geometric motif beaded pattern in early glass trade seed beads in such colors as pony trader sky blue, chalk white, medium green, red, corn yellow translucent dark blue, translucent light blue, and translucent red. The moccasins show a very fine condition with little to no bead loss and museum presentation artisanship. These are stuffed with early newspapers from circa 1968, most likely the date at which they were collected by the previous owner. The Sioux Indian people, also referred to as the Great Sioux Nation Ochéthi Šakówi?, are a nation of many dialects including Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota. The harness cowboy leather soles show excellent authentic wear and patina and are a rare find on early authentic moccasins as most sets show a parfleche base. The set has an intricate and exquisite traditional geometric motif beaded pattern in early glass trade seed beads in such colors as pony trader sky blue, chalk white, medium green, red, corn yellow translucent dark blue, translucent light blue, and translucent red. The moccasins show a very fine condition with little to no bead loss and museum presentation artisanship. These are stuffed with early newspapers from circa 1968, most likely the date at which they were collected by the previous owner. The Sioux Indian people, also referred to as the Great Sioux Nation Ochéthi Šakówi?, are a nation of many dialects including Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota.
