The larger ones are cloth and plastic, the smaller ones simply plastic and all feature that wonderful, crazy, colorful tall token troll hair! Marked on back of her head ideal doll st-12 and her back st-12-n this doll is truly in n...moreear mint condition, note the facial coloring it is vibrant and detailed with no visible flaws! She has perfect working brown sleep eyes, her hair is still in it's original curls with white bow and she is very clean. She wears a 3 piece outfit, all original, the tied back creme colored satin laced underdress and matching fitted underwear beneath a hard to find original red decorated pinafore lace detailed dress. She even has her original socks (note these do show some aging and some threads are separating from being nearly 70 years old! ) and her unique black plastic flats. An excellent condition collectible doll who will only appreciate more if you care for her as well as she's been cared for to date! (value $50-100)

Rare! 1950s madame alexander-kins 8" tall bkw (bent knee walker) hard plastic jointed doll, all original with tagged dress! These dolls in mint condition are getting hard...moreer and harder to find, this one is just perfect! Very rare pink and white candy striped pinafore dress (again tagged madame alexander-kins) with a matching hot pink straw hat, a pocket full of dainty fabric flowers, an off white original lace bottomed crimped underskirt and bloomer underwear plus matching ribbed bobby socks and hard to find tan/camel colored snap over shoes! Please note the original owner displayed this doll encased, but she did add a small pair of pinned sunglasses they look cute so we decided to keep them on unless you choose otherwise! This alexander-kins has very vibrant shiny auburn red hair, middle parted, with tons of curls at the bottom. Her coloring is exceptional and her greyish blue sleep eyes work perfect. Great doll find!!! (value $150-250)

Fashioned after the miss rev...morelon doll, toni quickly became a popular favorite and many theme outfits were offered for her petite and shapely figure. The stewardess dress is original with snap backs, medium navy blue with white trim and toni still has her "flying wings" on her left chest area. She has a replacement belt very similar to the original, and she does have her original white satin underwear and black plastic fashion heels on. Her rooted hair is styled as original with soft curls, he greenish grey tinted sleep eyes work perfect and her coloring tho a bit faded is still very visible and consistent. She has no flaws other than the replacement belt and the missing cap. (value $25-50)

Mimi tallulah is hard to find, and features a popula...morer look of long braided brown pig tails with lots of hair (yarn) at the top, back and curls at the front of her darling little girl head. She has matching brown eyes, wonderful coloring and although she has been gently loved she is clean and in original condition including her green checkered white lace trimmed and collared dress. She has white tights, a clean diaper and her original white decorative rubber shoes. She comes with her original birth certificate and adoption papers however please note they have been opened but are all intact. She also has a rare hangtag on her left wrist, most cpks don't come with this! Her box shows aging and wear, and has tears and some taped areas but is also intact and has preserved her very well. He twists his waists, bends his legs, moves his arms and head... These dolls were made by ljn in ny and were limited so they are very collectible. The box has some tearing on the sides and the doll appears to have been removed but is in excellent condition still inside. (value $25-50)

New in box! American girl retired "girls of many lands england" is another limited edition 9" doll representing england's country, culture and heritage in 1592. Included ...moreis a book also called "taking wings". The doll's name is isabel and many collectors will also notice the artist of this doll is helen kish (very popular fine doll artist!). The pictures don't do the doll justice as she is nib i did not want to remove her, but atop her elegantly woven and braided hair sits a multi-gemmed headband like hat, she is adorned in dark red velvet and tons of gold accents and jewelry.... She is high fashion and it is england a century ago!! Note there is a small tear at the top side of the box, but the box has not been opened beyond simply unwrapping the gold ribbon to open for viewing... The doll and book have not been removed. Small tears can happen, it is minor but notable. (value $25-75)

Rare! 1990 limited edition dolls by galoob, this is the #2. She is a 13" medium weight vinyl with multiple joints for posing, and her darling face matches her name - "bab...morey face so surprised suzie!". Her head moves all around up and down, sideways, etc with vibrant baby blue flirty eyes, long "real" lashes and a to die for little baby face of awe and surprise. Her mouth is open, two tiny teeth show at the bottom with her pink tongue inside... She's adorable! Her hair is very blond, rooted, and straight except for 2 small ponytails that feature little bow ties and longer crimped hair. I believe her clothing is from bouncin babies who made outfits for these galoob dolls, as this is not original but fits perfect and is very much like the bouncin babies clothing line style. She's in excellent condition, she is a retired doll and was limited in edition by lgti (lewis galoob toys inc) who was bought by hasbro in 1998. (value $50-300, this model #2 goes beyond $150 often! )

Vintage 1966 limited edition "goldilocks" is a perfect soft jointed vinyl, very well made doll (as madame alexander is known for for nearly a century now!). She is in her...more original outit which includes undergarments, tights and gold buckle shoes. She has never been removed from the box, she has her hangtag and wrapping and is in the correctly marked box #1520. Her darling face is colorful and vibrant, her blue/grey sleep eyes work perfectly, and her medium blong hair with a hint of red is held back with a matching black velvet headband curls still in place just a little matted in back from laying down for so many decades! She is accompanied in this auction lot with another popular 14" madame alexander original "mcguffy ana" who is made very similar to goldilocks and also has her original hangtag and factory box that is labeled #1525. Mcguffy ana comes with her original authentic outfit including a full plaid pinafore like dress covered in an eyelet white apron, white tights and black and white button up vintage boot like shoes. Her golden blond rooted hair is pig tail braided with green bows, she has thick bangs and her hair is topped with a custom made floral straw hat. Both goldilocks and mcguffy ann are nrfb dolls, and are in excellent condition. The boxes show a little wear on the sides, nothing major. These are wonderful collection dolls!! (value - $40-100)

From left to right we have a great variety of authentic mattel monster high dolls, all are very articulated for a variety of posing, all come with a custom stand, and all...more are genuinely freaky, creepy and super cool in a frightmare kind of way.... Great collectible and art design dolls! On the left is "ghoulia yelps", daughter of the zombies and part of the dawn of the dead series. This is out of production (1st after original one) and so she's highly sought after and hard to find. She comes complete with a dance dress, fish net tights, super high metallic heels, retro matching glasses and a stylish purse.... Plus alot of bright blue hair! (value $100-200) next to her is "spectra vondergeist", daughter of a ghost, in her amazing fashion set! This retired set features spectra in a mod multi-color mini dress with silver chain bracelets and belt plus balls and chains around her boots and her matching purse. She has a fashionable pair of sunglasses with silver chain topping and a silver shining head scarf.... Mysterious and sexy! (value $25-50). We couldn't complete a set without a man, or a popular 11. 5" "gargoyle boy"! Many of the boy dolls come from cam sets, create-a-monster so you are able to make one of a kinds and that is what we have here. Our gargoyle boy is wearing surfer style black and red clothing and features a grey/white skin tone but although you can always add hair to him still he is bald to show off his larger monster ears and he has added in back matching wings too! Mix and match these guys, many work and he is from set 2 cam btw. (value $25-40). To his right is our darling 10" tall "clawdeen wolf doll", a werewolf's daughter. She is part of the dawn of the dance series, and we love the pierced wolf ears!!! Vibrant bright green and gold down to her stockings, purse and stand she is a knock out and was a 1st release in 2009. She's been popular ever since! (value is $10-30). And finally to finish the lot the 5th monster high doll is another 10. 5" girl monster with her true unique style! She was released 2011 1st wave and is "operetta" a tattooed rockabilly style monster gal who takes after her dad the phantom of the opera. She rocks the howlways playing her coffin shaped guitar that's included, along with a great different personality and look to her monster friends. (value $30-50). Great set and collectively they are valued at almost $400 and these dolls do appreciate with tlc and age!! Sorry no pets in this lot, we just got dolls and accessories!!!

Made by madame alexander in 1966, ...morealice comes in her original box marked #1552 and has her original hang tag. She is wearing the traditional alice bright blue outfit with a white apron, white titghts and laced underclothing, original black mary jane style shoes and a matching blue ribbon holding her light long curled blond hair back. He has vibrant coloring in her face, and her blue/grey sleep eyes work perfect! Because she's alice in wonderland, and she was made so incredibly beautiful she is worth more than most of her counterpart dolls from madame alexander in this size. Value $100-200)

In the early 1900's lenci felt dolls in italy were extremely popular, and many countries and companies adopted this gorgeous look along with adding the respective decorat...moreive style of dress for the day. These 4 dolls are no exception, they are prime examples of the detail that goes into handmade dolls in the early century. All 4 dolls are "made in italy by magis roma" and 3 of the 4 still retain their original metalic gold label on the front of their costumes. The larger doll is 8. 5" tall, the other 3 are 7". They all feature the classic lenci side glancing painted eye look with beautiful hand painted faces, have braided or plaited styled dark mohair, and their traditional colored ethnic costumes. Underneath their clothing they all have appropriate cotton underskirting, underwear, laced pantaloons, and all have fitted plastic or leather shoes. The boy carries a small plastic painted guitar, with his label additionally reading "sorrento", the untagged girl has a gold ring adorning her updo braided hair and carries a small tamborine, the other small girl is also additionally labeled "sorrento" on her magis roma tag, and the largest doll by far the most decorative has a magis roma tag reading "quartu s. Elena sardegna". All the dolls arms can move up and down, their heads slightly move also, but generally the dolls are stationary with legs are jointed to their bodies. A beautiful set, nearly 100 years old, and in truly excellent preserved condition!! (value $80-200)

Wow! What a pick here nearly matching but we have 2 different variations of very early 1900's top doll manufacturers who have made again nearly identical dolls. Both are ...more11" tall, both are made of celluloid/paper mache with stuffed cloth bodies dressed elaborately in the german attire common a century ago. The boy is called a minerva junge no. 2, 26 and features the very rare helmet symbol above the word germany on the back of his head. The girl's marking is an early and hard to see etching in the paper mache under her wig. The symbols for rheinische gummi (schildkröt) or for kestner could match it but we are not certain without removing the entire wig. She is also marked 9 below. They again are a wonderful pair they look very similar yet the boy is a celluloid only painted head with celluloid hands and a stuffed cloth body. The girl is celluloid/paper mache head with a wig of braided blond mohair and her arms, legs and body are stitched and stuffed cloth. You see the difference and similaries? But the most common thing these 2 have about them is that they are incredibly rare and in excellent condition! You won't find a more preserved pair of these together. Please note our young girl was missing a shoe, so her black leather laced shoes have been replaced with a close a match as possible but the shoes are not over a century old. The boys shoes are, as is his wonderful multi-layered outfit. Welcome to early germany in the 1900's! Value $200-500)

Excellent mint condition and perfectly matching pair! Hang tag on boy reads "made in austria/seppl" which is basically a play on words if you will, the costumes of this t...moreime were part of the culture, the tradition, the history and heritage. Seppl in a way means silly, but there is nothing silly about the fact that these dolls are wearing exactly what germans wore a century ago. The dolls are both made of celluloid, and with their perfectly flirty painted eyes and faces they very much resemble the lenci look of the day. They could be steiff however, as steiff was producing quite a bit of dolls in this attire at this time, right in austria! Hard to tell, besides the one tag we have nothing more than perfectly preserved antique celluloid german dolls. (value $50-200)

Beautiful matching pair of 10" stuffed cloth with stocking head dolls that both have their original tags sewn inside under their dresses, numbered and stamped soviet unio...moren. These are very early 1900's, and were purchased in the ussr. Both are in excellent antique condition, featuring stockinette heads that have been gently painted, along with styled blond mohair on one and a more reddish blond mohair on the other. Both wear bonnets/scarves upon their molded heads, and are elaborately dressed in the style of the russian federation a century ago. They have aprons atop their colorful cotton dresses, their bodies are stuffed muslin and they both have short pantaloons that have the stitched numbered and stamped original tags. Each wears black cloth, leather soled hand made shoes please note the doll with the red and blue bonnet does have a small hole at the top of her right shoe and you can see some of her stocking showing thru... About the size of a pin tip tho. You will not find an authentic pair of antique russian dolls in better condition! (value $180-300)

In the 1920s and early 1930s four series of wonderfully made all cloth stockinette dolls were made representing the peoples of the newly formed soviet union (the ussr: th...moree union of soviet socialist republics -- what they abbreviated as cccp in the cyrillic alphabet. ) these are extremely collectible today, tho they are often only found in pretty tough shape. By the mid 1930s the production of these dolls were over, as the ussr was evolving and the people were moving and changing. Collectively there are less than 50 types of these small stockinette russian dolls, each in a type of series depicting regions or lifestyles or culture. Money was sparce, the dolls were made with care and raw materials available at hand. They have wires internally, are stuffed with cloth and wear simple bland colored garments. Their heads are socks, hand painted and their heads typically were covered with a hat or scarf as mohair was hard to obtain. Their unique shoes, called lapti, consisted of woven reeds or bast tied with cords over cotton leg basting. On the century old dolls here, they are somewhat worn.... For people who wore these in russia day after day you can imagine how hard it would be to have them last a week! The dolls have stockinette (stocking) heads that are molded and hand painted, with very simple drab colored clothing. Again these dolls were very representative of the era of the soviet union in the early 1900s. Under the garments is sewn a small white label indicating which doll is which, again there were less than 50 variations made. The boy reads "made in soviet union peasant boy" and the girl reads "made in soviet union riazan village girl". We see much history in art, music, books, and more.... These are dolls that you can truly see and feel the history.... Times long ago when perhaps only this doll or 2 brought any joy or smile to a starving, depraved human in the ussr in the 1920s... These dolls are priceless!!! (value $100-1000)

Hard to find!!! Appears to be part of a series and with identification of france prior to the provence of languedoc that brings the dolls representing around 1775, howeve...morer i am certain they are not that old! They are a molded plastic, elaborately decorated in matching like costume, they are french bellas! All are tagged, and they are also numbered in pencil on their tag again brings my suspicion there are more of these to collect. They are at minimum vintage, though came with the antique collection of dolls we have from the same seller. Regardless, the pictures show they are in mint condition and hard to price when they are the only ones existing at least for sale!!! (value $100-300)

By the 1950's in britain, peggy nesbit had already made a name for herself.... She was known as a world renowned doll maker. The interesting thing about the peggy nesbit ...morecollection is the costumes, as most of the dolls have identical looks, made with a hard plastic called styrene and mohair glued on. But peggy spent tons of time researching her costumes, and her buyers appreciated that and looked forward to the next surprise doll to come! They loved her dolls, embraced them, and they always appreciate as collectibles. So not surprising we have one of the popular "british traditional" series dolls to offer you (that is btw what the br stands for on her hang tag! ) this particular peggy nesbit doll is the pearly queen and here peggy is dressed in attire that was representative of what the queen of england would have been wearing during the mid-century. Black was a common color of authority and nobility, while decorations of diamonds (here sequins) abound the layered costume while always adding a bright scarf and hat colors to accent and be noticed. Doll collectors felt that peggy always had a knack for identifying and portraying the style whether it be current or historical, and any doll collector must agree a peggy nesbit doll is a great addition and compliment to collections. Again our seller nearly always bought dolls in pairs, thus we also have a smaller male doll from england to accompany peggy. Our english sailor is a 5. 5" cloth doll with a celluloid/paper mache type painted face. He has flirty eyes and sadly he did not come with a name tag, because i am fairly certain if he had we'd find he was from another beloved doll maker in england norah wellings. The flirty eyes, the overall look, and style.... But alas without the tag i cannot be certain. I can however acertain that the pair compliment eachother and represent this fine country very well together! (value $80-150)

Colorful and absolutely appropriately dressed for the era the doll features a paper ma...moreche hand painted face that again is lenci style! Our seller's favorite!! Flirty brown eyes, vibrant red lips and long black braided hair cascades below her white scarfed hair under her soft white felt cowboy hat. Silk blue shirt below, she is decorated brightly with an aztec type theme and is sure to be noticed in your display! (value $50-100)

Early to mid 1900's and in mint condition is yet another 10" doll this time from portugal. She is tagged lala made in portugal, and upon searching the artist is very very...more rare! As is the design of this doll, as you can see she is hand painted and decorated beautifully in era and culture appropriate attire but atop her head rests an amazing hand woven basket with 2 small cloth chickens inside!!! A small stick holds them to the cloth seamed head piece of the doll, and they remain intace in the cage with matching thin twine looped into squares around the entire basket. You won't see a doll like this often, if ever, and again it's not the rarity but the uniqueness here that captivates the viewer! Value $50-100

Vintage and untagged, our seller however personally tagged each doll for us prior to passing away so we could identify the collection. This is a small 5" jointed doll, he...moreld together with string her arms, legs and head move (note her head is a bit loose but does stand still and posed). I want to add that i'm not entirely sure this is celluloid, as the doll is painted black with a hand painted face but the body parts seem almost more like bisque underneath, a more firm substance and not so much like plastic. Regardless she is sturdy and there is no loss of paint to show after almost a century here! She has a styled dark black mohair with thick "gold" hooped earrings on each side. They are actually in the hair, but of course look like they are earrings! Her head is wrapped in colorful cloth, she wears a beaded double strand necklace, and her dress is silky and colorful with tiny laced cotton top underneath and below a very long eyelet underskirt... This makes her appear 8" tall but her legs prove she is just wearing a very long dress. Perfect for a stand, and an excellent display collectible! Value $25-100

Made in the late 1980's was a series of these wonderful facial expression dolls called "galoobs". Named after lewis galoob toy company, the name sticked and they were mad...moree til selling to hasbro who discontinued these dolls... Sad but true! They are now collectibles, and since we had a #2 in our auction here's another one for you it's the #9 "so shy sherri" baby face galoob! Excellent clean condition! She has spectacular sparkling green eyes with vibrant short red hair, a longer piece in the middle allows us to made a baby pigtail there! Our sherri lost her original clothing, but it's not hard to find substitutes that are similar to the original and make her like new again! Sherri comes with the new double ribbons in her hair, and a hot pink comb, plus a baby blanket, a powder pink long sleeve long length sparkly ballerina pair of pajamas and for day wear she has a striped terry onsie with a white long sleeve t-shirt underneath to stay warm, and some wonderful hot pink shoes that fit her perfect. Oh, and as you'll find with all our foreverdolls she has brand new powder pink underwear on!! She's a keeper, and a hard doll to find so hoping she gets adopted by a great family today!!! Vintage pair of spanish dancers both in unique molded stances, made by the popular barcelona doll artist roldan klumpe. Mint condition, they both stand 10" tall as they t...morewirl and swirl their bodies in dance together these are extremely unique cloth and paper mache hand painted faced dolls and highly collectible. The man is a spanish matador, preparing for the bull fight he is ornately designed and decorated with cotton and felt, as well as black lace, gold sequins and gems, whimsical flirty lenci style eyes and look at his curled hair with buns on the side... No detail was left behind here! Same as the 10" spanish dancer woman who accompanies him, with pointed black ballet shoes she dances while carrying a decorated white candle and metal and gemmed chain with a cross, while holding her white lace shawl around her shoulders and head. Note the flirty lenci style eye look, next to her multi "pearl" decorations adorning her hair. She even has a double omega style necklace under the shawl! She is tagged by roldan, the great roldan kulpe doll artist of barcelona. Value $100-300
