Turkish 1893/30 Mauser 8mm SN: 4988

Lot # 186 (Sale Order: 204 of 846)      

Turkish military bolt action service rifle chambered in 7.92x57mm, circa 1933. The Turkish 1893 was the only Mauser rifle to have a magazine cut-off, but in the 1930's when the 1893/30 modifications were made the magazine cut-off feature was typically removed. Features a blued finish, 29" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, graduated rear sight to 2,000 meters, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, two barrel bands, smooth trigger, three-position safety on the rear on the bolt, internal box magazine, straight bolt handle, sling swivels, smooth wood handguard and full-length straight grip shoulder shoulder stock with smooth metal buttplate. Serial numbers match on the receiver and the rear sight assembly. Rifle retains less than 10% of it's original finish with the majority of the metal surfaces turn to a dark brown patina. Action is smooth, the bore appears very good but dirty and the wood stocks are good with several blemishes. Condition is near NRA Good. ***C&R Firearm***

'GS Series' Rare small frame single action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle, circa 1984. This revolver is unique in that it has a 4.4" barrel with a blade front sight, contrary to the the original label which reads as 4 3/4". The reason behind this is that it has an overrun barrel from "The Duke" commemorative, it is estimated that only 100 to 150 revolvers were produced in the GS series with this barrel length. Features a blued 4.4" barrel, blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, ejector rod, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, case hardened flat-top frame, cross-bolt safety, black finished alloy grip frame, and two-piece checkered black plastic federal eagle grips. Includes the original factory wood grain cardboard box with inserts, manual and a displaced label. Revolver exhibits approximately 98% of it's original finish showing few handling marks and a drag line on the cylinder. Action is smooth with good lock-up, bore is excellent and the grips are fine. It is missing the front barrel band with sling swivel, the front of the stock has been shortened by approximately .5" and the trigger guard/floorplate is from a 1903. Includes an additional 'C' stock that has been stripped. Rifle exhibits approximately 80% of it's arsenal refinish showing handling marks, wear and heavy finish loss on the bottom metal. This high grade rifle is party of a limited edition run and is one of only 3,000 produced. It features a blued 22" barrel, full-length magazine tube, pinned blade front sight, flip-up ladder rear sight, satin nickel plated receiver with engraved game scenes & gold filled deer & bears, smooth gold trigger, serrated hammer spur, saddle ring, checkered high gloss select walnut forend and straight grip shoulder stock with metal carbine buttplate. Includes the original factory cardboard box with a reprinted manual. Rifle exhibits approximately 99%+ of it's original finish with no observed wear. 'Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun' Italian made shotgun with both slide action and semi-automatic capabilities, circa 1982. Imported by F.I.E. Corp. of Miami, Florida with import marks on the left side of the receiver. Features a parkerized 21.5" threaded barrel with thread protector, large blade front sight, ghost ring rear sight, extended magazine tube with 8 round capacity, smooth trigger, large rotary safety, ventilated metal heat shield, black finished alloy receiver, grooved black synthetic forend/slide handle and pistol grip with folding metal shoulder stock. Shotgun exhibits approximately 90% of it's original finish showing slide wear on the heat shield and some light discoloration & rust primarily on the magazine extension. The action appears to function properly but could use a good cleaning & some oil, the bore is very good and the synthetic stocks are very good. Condition is NRA Good+++. ***Modern Firearm***
