18BIL-1 U.S. GENERAL DAVIDSON COLT 60

Lot # 218 (Sale Order: 271 of 774)

Colt Model 1860 Army Richards conversion to .44 Colt center-fire cartridge, S/N 2977 (all visible numbers matching); period inscribed on back strap “J.W. Davidson U.S.A.”. The metal surfaces show light cleaning to gray and scattered light to moderate pitting and erosion. The barrel address is good and legible and the cylinder shows about 30%-50%light scene. The grips have been cleaned or sanded and are slightly undersized. The front sight has been slimmed slightly.
