Condition is fine with very light repair work to tip of stock which does not detract. Barrel retains approx. 80% of a blue/gray finish, with very interesting three-pointed triangular front sight. Liege proofmarks to left side of barrel assemblies; barrels are alternately numbered 3 and 4, and can be individually fired by manipulating the switch on the left side of frame. Condition is excellent with mostly bright finish and light patination. Grips show very well with only light marks from handling and one impression to right side. Good functioning action, fine bores. Pommel caps decorated with grotesque masks. Bottom of frames just behind barrel lugs with early English view and proof markings. Lightly engraved detail to frames and triggerguards, with decorative draped designs beneath flash pans. Condition is excellent as very lightly cleaned. Breech portion of barrels with very light witness marks. Walnut stocks show very well with mild impressions. Shell carving detail around upper tangs show only the slightest smoothing. Pair of German Horse Pistols, by Lohrman of Essen, ca.1720, .69 cal., 11.75'' barrel, full-length carved walnut stocks, with horn-tipped oak ramrods, scroll engraved bras...mores triggerguards, sideplates, butt caps, and rod ferrules. Breech area of barrels with light scroll decorations terminating at wedding band detail. Condition is near excellent showing very light restoration work, with one pistol exhibiting a small nearly imperceptible repair at top of wrist area to stock. Top of barrels with some thinning to detail. Crisp lockplates and matching hammers. Triggerguard engraving and lion's head engraved brass butt caps show excellent detail. Both original brass front sight blades are present. Nice functioning actions and good smooth bores with light patination. Est.: $5,250-$6,250. (Antique)

Top of barre...morel marked ''PM/P.C. 1814''. Probably used by the militia, many built using surplus military parts. Known examples of these muskets were built without sling provisions. Condition is very good with moderate to heavy brown patination to metal surfaces. Stock with minor losses along top edge right side. Iron ramrod is present. Erosion near flash hole and pan area. Unaltered Original Flintlock Kentucky Rifle

Unaltered Original Flintlock Kentucky Rifle, from the Allentown Region of Pennsylvania, with some features similar to those of the John Moll family of gunsmiths; .45 cal....more smoothbore, 38.5'' octagonal barrel stamped ''D. Christ'' on underside, who was the barrel maker from that region. Maple stock with a brass oval inlay on the wrist area, a brass quarter moon face inlay above the cheek rest area, and a brass wear plate on the underside of the stock from the rear ramrod pipe to the triggerguard finial. There is an arrow finial on the sideplate which is repeated on the toe plate. The original ramrod is retained with metal worn end and overall length of 53''. Ca. 1820. Condition is fine throughout. Maple stock shows a medium brown tone finish and darkening around lockplate; brass furniture with a nice even patina. A very nice unaltered Allentown Region Kentucky. Est.: $4,500-$5,500. (Antique)

Fullstocked Percussion Kentucky Rifle, signed in script on barrel and lock area ''S.G.'', made in the Bedford, Pennsylvania style, and probably made by ''Samuel Gehrett''...more gunsmith of the neighboring County of Huntington; .36 cal. rifled bore, 41'' barrel, 56'' overall, brass crescent buttplate, triggerguard ramrod channels and forend cap; notched rear sight and blade front sight. Curly maple stock has a German silver oval inlay on the wrist with the initials ''W.J.'' in script. Ca. 1840. Condition is fine with a smooth brown/gray patina to lockplate and barrel. Stock shows only minor fissures. Brass furniture retains a dark mustard color. Set trigger operates as designed pulling the rear trigger first, cocking hammer, firing with forward trigger. Roop'' who was the rifle make...morer; .45 cal. rifled bore, 42'' octagonal barrel, 57'' overall, lightly engraved hammer, rear sight is a later period ramp type, medium toned maple stock, and fancy patch box with rooster/chicken head finial and nice scroll engraving. Condition is fine overall with scattered minor spotting. Maple stock shows a neatly done period wrist repair with brass wrap and tacked around this area. Missing one of the brass barrel retaining pins and rear sight elevator; shows moderate erosion at nipple bolster. Ramrod pipes are worn thru in areas from its frequent use. A nice example. Unaltered Original Fullstocked Flintlock Kentucky Rifle, signed in script on top barrel flat ''C. (Christopher) Gumpf'', who worked in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Loc...morek is stamped ''Dreppert'', who was a lock maker in Lancaster. .50 cal. smoothbore, 43'' octagonal barrel, 59'' overall, dual set triggers, with honey color toned curly maple stock with relief carved checkered wrist and oval silver inlay in its center. Forend has eight silver football style inlays, and silver wire in the form of an eight-pointed star with two heart finials inlaid above the cheek rest. The engraved brass patch box has a Disselfink (bird) engraved on its lid. Ca. 1815. Condition is very good. Barrel is still in its original white (non-browned) condition with toning patina. There are several small slivers repaired along the forend edge, which are barely noticeable, and a small surface crack by the lock area. An attractive American long rifle. Est.: $6,500-$8,000. Silver Mounted & Gold Inlaid German Percussion Belt Pistol, .58 cal., 4,25'' half-round barrel with inlaid gold decorations, maker's cartouche and double bands near breec...moreh; wedding band and leafy scroll transition band to round portion of barrel; gray/brown patina finish, fluted walnut stock with engraved silver butt cap. Reeded gold detail at muzzle. Sideplate, hammer, upper tang and triggerguard are nicely engraved. Gold cartouche under magnification appears to read ''(sun) / YO / Basca / Ran''. Ca. 1840s. Condition is very good showing a gray/brown patina finish and some discoloration to the sideplate; gold cartouche and scrollwork remains bright. Fluted stock is excellent showing only minor marks and minor loss of varnish. Nipple, bolster area, and inner portion of hammer show no pitting whatsoever. Ramrod is missing; belt hook is present. Action is good, bore with even patina. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (Antique)

''E Baker & Son'' English Holster Pistol, .50 cal., 5.5'' round barrel, patina finish, nipple bolster with platina safety plug, dolphin hammer, smooth walnut stock with f...morelat bottom grip, and captured ramrod. Beautifully engraved sideplate, hammer, screws, and upper tang, and triggerguard terminates with pineapple finial, with detailed Stand of Arms to round portion of guard. Sideplate marked ''E. Baker & Son'' in banner; top of barrel marked ''E. Baker & Son / London''. Ezekiel Baker was an apprentice of Henry Nock, inventor of the British Army Baker rifle, and gunmaker to royalty. Ca. 1840s. Condition is very good+ for its age showing a nice brown/gray patina finish. Stock with numerous small bruises and marks from handling but no breaks or cracks. Small chip to ramrod tube. Action remains tight; nice smooth bore with light patina. A quality made pistol by a fine English gunmaker. Est.: $1,250-$1,750. (Antique)
