SERIAL NUMBER: 123940 DESIGN: Single action percussion 6-shot revolver. 8" barrel. Top of the barrel is stamped "Address Col Saml Colt New-York US." "Colts Patent" is sta...moremped on the left side of the frame below the cylinder. The letter "H" is stamped behind the hammer and trigger guard. Mechanics are good. Operational. Year of Manufacture: 1863. MATERIAL/FINISH COMPOSITION: Nickel finish. Wood grips. FEATURES: "C.F. Smith" has been stamped into the left wood grip. CONDITION: Poor/Fair. Revolver has been heavily buffed and refinished. The buffing removed much of the original markings and all of the engraved naval battle scene on the cylinder. Left wood grip has a corner chipped.
