This well-documented 1995 Corvette ZR1 is one of 25 produced in Dark Purple Metallic and is serial #140 of 448 total produced in 1995 the last year of that run. This car started life as a PR car for GM for its first year. Then it was refurbished in Detroit and sold to well-known car technical writer Hib Halverson of Southern California who owned it for more than 20 years. Approximately 2-1/2 years ago it was sold to an individual from Gainesville FL who parked it in his garage and drove it only 46 miles before selling it to its third owner. It is a matching-numbers car with the exception of one head which was changed during a complete rebuild approximately 55000 miles ago. The reliable and manageable Lotus-designed four-overhead-cam 350ci V8 engine features ported polished and mated stock exhaust manifolds and heat-wrapped 3 exhaust flowing into a 3 set of stock-looking Flowmaster mufflers. It?s backed by a 6-speed manual transmission with a Hurst/Reinhart short-throw shifter and an aluminum flywheel with McLeod clutch. This ZR1 features many upgrades including modern Bilstein shocks with three electronic settings controlled from the cockpit larger 1996 Grand Sport brakes and a 9-fin oil cooler but maintains its original appearance. Inside it sports dual power seats power locks cruise control and air conditioning. The radio was professionally upgraded using the original speaker covers. The antenna only raises halfway. This Corvette includes a complete set of factory manuals complete key sets with one factory fob and extra parts.

The engine is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. In 1955 Rolls-Royce introduced the Silver Cloud to replace the Silver Dawn whose body style was adopted just following World War II. The nice lines of the new Silver Cloud met with international acclaim and the car was an enormous success. The series continued for five years ending in 1959 with a total production of 2238. This vehicle was delivered new at Jack Barclay LLC of London and has remained with the same family for the last 35 years. Always maintained and garaged it runs well and is rust-free. This 1991 Camaro Z/28 is one of 478 Camaros produced for the 1991 model year with option code 1LE. Of that number 289 were built with the LB9 5.0-liter engine and an MM5 5-speed manual transmission. The 1LE Performance Package includes larger 11-1/2? brake rotors and heavy-duty brake calipers an aluminum driveshaft special heavy-duty springs and shocks and special high-wall fuel tank. The 1LE option was usually only available with manual windows no fog lamps and to further save weight air conditioning was not available. The particular car was ordered by a Delco Executive in Rochester NY to use as her personal vehicle. It was built at the Van Nuys Assembly Plan on November 1 1990 and shipped to Hoselton Chevrolet in East Rochester NY. It is one of few non-raced 5-speed and even fewer equipped with leather seating cassette stereo power locks and rear defroster. Over time several factory-authorized performance upgrades were added to the vehicle including a Hurst short-throw shifter and an SLP performance exhaust system. This factory model car has been well cared for throughout its lifetime.
