Description
We are honored to sell the Ray Rayburn collection of microphones and sound equipment. Many collector items as well as more current technologies. Some rarely seen for sale anywhere! All will sell to the highest bidder. Mr. Rayburn is semi-retired and spending more time with his family in Texas.
Mr. Rayburn has worked in the sound industry for decades. He began his career in the early 1960’s when much of today’s technology was being developed. He has collected an amazing assortment of equipment beginning in the early 1960’s. He has been a sound consultant for K-2 Audio, Cirrus Logic, Peak Audio and Sound First. He was recognized as a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society “In recognition of your contributions to the art and science of sound system design, digital signal processing and routing, and electromagnetic compatibility.” Ray authored the third edition of “Eargles Microphone Book and wrote segments of the book- “Handbook for sound Engineers”.
