serial #KT7989, 357 Magnum, 6" full lug ventilated rib barrel with an excellent bore. This lovely 1992 produced revolver features the company's "Ultimate" bright polish stainless steel. The metal surfaces rate excellent with a few minor handling marks and very light turn ring. The serrated service trigger and target hammer both rate excellent with beautiful bright polish. The checkered rubber factory grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions rate excellent. Beside the attractive finish, the gun features a serrated red ramp front sight, white outline Colt Accro rear sight and still times and locks up beautifully. Includes the original factory hard case with picture style shipping sleeve that is correctly end labeled and numbered to the gun, manual and paperwork. serial #S230570, 44 Magnum, 6 1/2'' barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain perhaps 98% original blue with slight silvering and operational wear with the .500'' target hammer and trigger exhibiting nice color. The checkered diamond rosewood factory grips are very good plus with just a touch of added stain, there is a small chip at the butt and a small unobtrusive crack near the knuckle. The revolver is equipped with a micro-adjustable white outline rear sight and a serrated blade with red insert front sight. The smooth .400" M.I.M.'s combat trigger and .500" target hammer retain full case-hardened colors. The pebble grain factory rubber Hogue Monogrips with S&W logo rate excellent. The revolver features an internal lock, Patridge front sight, black blade micro adjustable rear sight and it still functions mechanically. serial #1015, 40-65, 28'' crowned octagon Douglas barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue with a tiny blemish here-or-there, the barrel address reads ''SINGLE SHOT INC. / BIG TIMBER, MT.''. The lever, hammer and block show vibrant if somewhat dark case-hardened color. The smooth walnut shotgun-style buttstock and schnabel-style forend are excellent. The rifle is equipped with a Vernier tang sight, a rear sporting sight with elevator and a globe front sight with single pin insert. A correspondence with Mr. Garbe revealed that this rifle was built by Ed Webber and is number 15 of approximately 100 rifles made. This rifle was used in BPCR competition by Sheryll Garbe, the wife of four-time National BPCR Silhouette Champion Steve Garbe, and was also used as a hunting arm. The metal surfaces have simple but elegant loose scroll engraving with a few small wedges festooned on the triggerguard and a strip on the ejector rod housing. The barrel, cylinder and straps are a rich Colt blue with gorgeous case-hardened colors on the frame. The checkered synthetic Eagle grips rate excellent. The grips and all appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun and the left side of the triggerguard strap is marked "COLT ENG.". The barrel has loose scroll engraving with punch dot shading, the grip frame is tighter scroll with fine stippled shading with half rosettes on the recoil shields flowing into light geometric designs on the backstrap and triggerguard, finishing with wedges of punch dot shaded floral blossom designs on each chamber of the cylinder. The top of the backstrap is engraved with "COLT" filled with blue enamel and the four masters are engraved on the butt. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original brilliant Colt nickel plate. The smooth goncalo alves factory grips are excellent with just a couple hints of dark grain color. The rear sight is a micro-adjustable blade, the front sight is a serrated ramp with red insert.
