The catalog for this auction is intended to provide accurate descriptions of all items. All purchases must be settled at the conclusion of the auction. Your credit card you register with will be charged for your purchases. A pre-auction authorization will be performed to establish available credit. Nothing will be charged to your card until a purchase is made. ONLY Visa & MasterCard credit cards will be accepted. There will be no sales tax on items purchased for non Missouri residents. Every effort is made by Mayo Auction & Realty to describe articles being sold as accurately as possible. Our research includes consultation with seller, outside experts and specialists in their field when necessary as well as online and library research. However, we do not warrantee the authenticity, origin, condition, or date of manufacture. Our printed descriptions are intended to be an aid and convenience to buyers. All descriptions are subject to errors and omissions. All Sales are Final To enable customers to participate in our auctions without lost time and travel expense (motel, transportation, etc.), buyers will pay a 17% buyers premium on the final bid price of all on-line sales. For example, if you buy a $100.00 item, your final purchase price will be $115.00 (100.00 + 17.00 = 117.00). When you are the winning bidder on an item, you will be notified by email within 2 days. All bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number & email address at which they can be contacted. The auctioneer has sole discretion to advance the bidding. The auctioneer shall be the final judge in any bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser. All sales are final, by bidding on any item the bidder shows acceptance of the terms of the auction. All announcements made the day of auction take precedence over any and all written or verbal statements. All Firearms: Payment is due day of auction. All applicable gun laws will be observed. All Buyers will fill out form 4473, show ID, and FBI background check will be performed before possession of firearm will be transferred to the Buyer. If the Buyer is unable to take possession of the firearm, an 18% restocking fee will be assessed. (If you cannot pass the background check, please do not bid on firearms). Online or absentee bidders: Any firearm that needs to be shipped must be shipped to an FFL in the purchaser’s state of residence. A shipping and handling fee will be assessed to send the firearm to the FFL. Handguns to Out of State Buyers: Payment is due day of auction. Out of state residents must have handgun transferred to an FFL (Federal Firearm Licensee) in their state of residence and the buyer must take possession from them. They are fairly easy to find (most gun shops will perform this service) and most charge a nominal fee for this service. A shipping and handling fee will be assessed to send the handgun to the FFL. Local Kansas residents: If you use our recommended FFL he will charge you $20 per handgun to do the transfer and there will be no shipping and handling fee; the handgun will be available for pickup in Gardner, KS.
