Description

This estate auction is a little odd in nature but it's an estate sale at it's best. 75% of this sale is actually brand new items never used, still in original boxes, or new out of the box but we still have the typical things you would normally see in a sale.

The story is a little sad but interesting. Ms. Huggs was diagnosed with cancer & given six months to live. She survived well past that time & decided she wouldn't let it run her life. After taking the bull by the horns she led a very vibrant life & went about her life as if she would live to 100. She started making plans to build a new house & started making purchases to have everything new when she moved into the new place. She put a lot of the things she already had into storage but also put all of the items she was purchasing into storage as well so when she finished her new home everything would be ready to go. Payment Instructions: Please make sure the card you have on file with Proxibid is valid. If a card is declined for ANY REASON you will be charged a $5 service fee because we are charged our fees rather your card is accepted or not! So if there is going to be a problem with your card you need to contact us prior to participating in the auction. At this time we are at the auction house from Tuesday-Friday 10:00-5:00. We use the APN network for credit cards and also do all of our own in house shipping so unless you have any special instructions or changes you won't have to worry about anything, we will handle it all for you. The credit card you select when you register to bid will be the card the APN will charged. We are opened Tuesday through Friday following the auction from 10-5 for pick-ups. Please try to have your items picked up at that time as we need the space to set up for the next auction. Items left past 10 days after the auction will incur a $5.00 per day storage fee. If not claimed within 30 days the items will be forfeited and resold for storage fees. If additional time is needed or if you are coming from out of town to pick up, please call us at 318-828-2915 to make arrangements as we do not have regular hours during the rest of the week and if you are coming from out of town we need to know so your items are not packed up for shipping. We do our own in-house shipping & will combine any items possible to save you money. Normal shipping takes place within 5-10 business days following the auction. For on-line, live internet or absentee bidding there is a 15% buyers premium. All accounts must be settled at the conclusion of the auction. Credit card on file will be charged . We only state information that has been told to us by the folks that have consigned the items. It is the bidders responsibility to make their decisions based on what they see for themselves. There are no refunds or returns for any reason! COIN AUCTIONS: All items in our Numismatic auctions are guaranteed to be as stated in the description. We will accept returns on any items that is not as stated in the description. Shipping / Packaging is done on the week following the auction and will be packaged once payment has been secured. Most coin auctions are shipped pretty quickly as they do not require a lot of packaging. FIREARMS AUCTIONS: Any auctions conducted that include the sale of fire arms of any type will be guided by all Federal, State and Local laws. An onsite agent will be on the premises for these sales to conduct any and all background checks in the event that a fire arm is awarded. A $10 fee will be charged for this service on site on the first fire arm and a $5 fee will be charged for any additional fire arms awarded in that same auction to the same bidder. These fees apply to any firearms sold online as well for processing. Any fire arms that require shipping (this includes antique, vintage or new) will be shipped by us as we are FFL Licensees but they must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer location. If the winner posses his own FFL license it may be shipped directly to him/her. (normally hand guns are $25 and rifles are $45 but depending on weight this could be a little higher) A shipping charge will be assessed for packaging & materials and will be charged on a separate invoice for the shipping charges so you will receive 2 invoices and will have 2 different charges on your card. This includes all packaging, boxing, labeling, insurance and processing. Any person bidding on firearms agree to all of the above prior to bidding and must know the laws of their own state guidelines. Packing and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and may be quoted before shipping. Winning bidders will pay actual shipping, insurance, and packing costs. Furniture and large items must be shipped via common carrier, bidder to pay associated costs. Our first priority is to deliver your new purchase in excellent condition. We will gladly deliver large items to our local Carriers at no additional charge. Shipping charges for these larger items will be between you and the shipping company. Insurance is required for any and all purchases. Insurance is assessed at $1.00 per hundred with a $1.00 minimum insurance cost.
