No. 1 has 30'' ...morebarrels with 3'' chambers and is choked Mod./Full; No. 2 has 26-1/2'' barrels with 2-3/4'' chambers and is choked Skt/Skt; No. 3 has 28'' barrels with 3'' chambers and is choked Mod./Mod. The Superposed action features a single selective trigger, non-auto safety and auto ejectors. Greyed receiver is elaborately engraved by FN Master Engraver ''A. Marechal'' with four game scenes surrounded by floral motifs. The three slender forends and pistol-grip buttstock are satin-finished, reddish-caste European walnut and include thorough checkering at 22 LPI, a black plastic grip cap with gold initial plate, and a Pachmayr Old English pad. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4''x1-1/2''x1-1/2''. All items are contained in a Browning 3-barrel hard case. Mfg'd 1961. Condition is very good, as used in the field but not abused. There are a few small handling marks to the wood, but little wear to the action, which still locks tight and functions correctly; all bores are bright. Est.: $4,000-$7,000. The Superposed action features a single selective trigger, non-auto safety and auto ejectors. Receiver is blued with full coverage of floral patterns accentuated by gold inlays of pheasants, ducks and quail, all executed by FN Master Engraver ''J. Lewanczyk''. Best Quality high-gloss European walnut is used on the (one) full beavertail forend and pistol-grip buttstock, with full coverage of checkering at 22 LPI; original Browning recoil pad is fitted. Action has been converted to mechanical instead of intertia triggers to facilitate small bore recoils, and forend has been modified for use with all barrels, to allow removal during disassembly. All items are contained in Browning hard case. Stock dimensions are 14-1/2''x1-1/2''x2''. Mfg'd 1972. Condition is near excellent, with little wear to action and almost no marks to wood. Exhibition Grade Browning Superposed Two-Barrel Over/Under Set, #71194S7. 12 ga., 30'' vent rib barrels have 2-3/4'' chambers and are choked F/F; 12 ga., 26-1/2'' vent r...moreib barrels have 2-3/4'' chambers and are choked IC/Mod.; barrels are serial numbered to the gun. The Superposed boxlock action features a single selective trigger, non-auto safety and auto ejectors. The deep blue receiver has been engraved with three waterfowl scenes that are all gold inlaid and surrounded by gold inlaid scroll and line border engraving. These inlays and engraving are extended to the trigger guard, operating lever, both barrel lugs and forend irons; four dragon heads are included in the motif. The engraving is signed ''A. Watrin''. The Presentation Grade satin-finished walnut has been fashioned into two full forends and a round-knob pistol-grip buttstock, carved on the checkering borders with additional flying dragons, then given full coverage of checkering at 20 LPI. Gun is contained in a brown naugahyde two-barrel hard case. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4''x1-3/8''x2-1/4'' to Pachmayr pad. Mfg'd 1967. Condition is excellent. There are a few handling marks on the buttstock, but no marks to the metal and little wear to the action, which locks very tight and functions correctly; all bores are bright. Est.: $18,000-$24,000. Factory Engraved ''C'' Series Browning Superposed High-Grade Over/Under Shotgun, #C4. 20 ga. 28'' vent rib barrels have 3'' chambers and are choked Full/Full. The Super...moreposed action features a single selective trigger, non-auto safety and auto ejectors. All the barrel markings appear to be hand-engraved. Receiver, trigger guard, tangs and forend iron are all deep blued, then game birds were added in gold; snipe on the left side, valley quail on the right, and a bobwhite quail on the bottom. Then elaborate gold vines and gold borders were then added to all surfaces around the birds. Engraving was done by FN Master Engravers ''Vrancken'' and ''J.M. Florent''. Slender forend with Schnabel tip and pistol-grip buttstock are of high-gloss dark ''marble cake'' walnut, with extensive checkering at 28 LPI plus carved oak leaves around all the grip checkering and on the bottom of the pistol grip. Butt features skip-line checkering only. Gun is contained in a brown Browning hard case. Exact manufacturing date is unknown. Condition is absolutely original and near perfect, having been shot very little. Action is still quite stiff, needing a good cleaning; bores are bright. Est.: $15,000-$20,000. The Diana receiver is silver grey with elaborate game scenes of duck, pheasant, quail and rabbit, surrounded by floral scrolls; signed by FN engraver ''J. Lewanczyk''. The full forend and pistol-grip buttstock are of high-gloss beautifully striped European walnut, nicely checkered with fleur-de-lis patterns, and including a wooden grip cap with initials and a Pachmayr Old English butt pad. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4''x1-1/2''x1-1/2''. Contained in a period-correct Browning hard case, with most of the original owner's manual and original Superposed guarantee. Mfg'd 1975. Beautiful Perazzi MX-28 SCO Grade Over/Under Game Shotgun, #137003. 28 ga. 30'' (76cm) barrels have a 7mm low vent rib, 2-3/4'' chambers, with Briley chokes marked IC/Mo...mored. Trigger plate/boxlock action features a single selective trigger, non-auto safety, and auto ejectors. Greyed receiver, tangs and forend iron are elaborately and completely engraved in floral patterns with black backgrounds; operating lever is pierced and the trigger guard remains blue. There is a gold inlaid ''3'' on the barrel rib, operating lever and forend iron, indicating that this 28 ga. may have been part of a 4-gun set. Engraving done by Perazzi engraver ''Jemaine''. The slender forend and full pistol-grip buttstock are of Exhibition Grade ''marble cake'' walnut, satin-finished, with extensive checkering at 30 LPI; a Kick-Eez recoil pad is fitted. Gun is contained in a leather-covered plastic hard case, marked Perazzi, but probably made by Negrini; stock wrench is included. Barrel marking indicates 2007 mfg. LOP 14-5/8"; drop at comb 1-5/16"; drop at heel 1-3/4". Condition is absolutely excellent, without scratches or handling marks to wood. The Superposed action features a single selective trigger, non-auto safety and auto ejectors. Greyed receiver features game scene engraving of pheasant, duck, rabbit and quail surrounded by floral scenes, done by FN Engraver "M. Bodson". Slender forends and straight-grip buttstock are of very nice European walnut, with extensive checkering and a Pachmayr Old English pad fitted. The gun and both barrels are contained in a Browning hard case. Mfg'd 1976. LOP 14-1/16"; drop at comb 1-3/8"; drop at heel 1-11/16". Condition is very good to near excellent, with numerous small handling marks to wood and some wear to the action, which still locks tight and functions correctly. The second barrel set has two small dents on the top rib. The first dent is on the 5th section from the front and the second dent is on the 2nd section from the rear. Receiver and other associated metal was left in the grey, then elaborately engraved with a gold pheasant on one side, a gold duck on the other, and a gold quail on the bottom, with surrounding leaf and vine motifs; then gold borders on all surfaces, including trigger guard, top and bottom tangs, and forend iron. All work done by FN engravers ''J. Baerten'' and ''J. Lewanczyk''. Exhibition Grade high-gloss walnut used on the slender forend with Schnabel tip and straight-grip buttstock is very attractive and features full grip checkering at 22 LPI and a skip-line checkered butt. Exact manufacturing date unknown. LOP 14-3/8" from front trigger, 13-5/16" from rear trigger; drop at comb 1-1/2"; drop at heel 2-1/16". Gun is contained in Browning hard case. Condition is excellent, as used very little. There are a few small handling marks and mars to the wood, and the action is quite snug to close, probably just needing a good cleaning. With smooth ivory grips and standard sights. In original French oak presentation case with fitted velvet maroon interior; exterior of lid with commemorative markings, inside of lid with small inlaid plaque; with key. Included is an original wood grain pattern Colt box with hand-numbered matching end label, two-piece Styrofoam insert, owner's manual and other misc. Colt paperwork. Revolver is in excellent overall condition, appearing unfired, retaining approx. 99% factory blue. Scarce Cased Set of 12 Matching Numbered Kansas Series Colt Frontier Scout Single Action Revolvers, with display cases and their individual wood boxes. This collection o...moref revolvers includes four pieces from each of the Kansas Series, which includes Forts, Cow Towns, and Trails. Individually, each revolver was limited to a production ranging from 500 to 501 each, and as a complete matching numbered set is extremely hard to find, each with a 490 serial number that includes a different suffix for each revolver, chambered in .22 LR, with a 4-3/4'' barrel, in a variety of finishes and two-piece grips. Cow Town revolvers include Dodge City, #490KD, gold-colored with imitation ivory grips; Abilene, #490KA, gold-colored with wood grips; Wichita, #490KW, gold-colored with imitation pearl grips; Coffeyville, #490KC, gold-colored with wood grips. Trail revolvers include Santa Fe, #490SF, blue/nickel with imitations ivory grips; Shawnee, #490ST, blue/nickel with wood grips; Chisholm, #490CH, blue/nickel with imitation pearl grips; Pawnee #490PT, blue/nickel with wood grips. Fort revolvers include Fort Riley, #490FR, blue/nickel with imitation ivory grips; Fort Scott, #490FSC, blue/nickel with checkered hard rubber grips; Fort Larned, #490FL, blue/nickel with imitation pearl grips; Fort Hayes, #490FH, blue/nickel with checkered hard rubber grips. The entire set is stored in a black leather-covered box with silver commemorative Kansas Series markings; the front folds down and inside are three individual black leather-covered cases for each set of four revolvers. Each case with silver-colored commemorative markings that corresponds with the respective series; each tray features a different color lining. Each revolver includes its original Kansas Series Colt display box. Conditions of the revolvers range from excellent to near excellent, all appearing unfired, most with intermittent minor handling marks. The gold-colored revolvers in the Cow Town series show additional handling marks and micro scratching that is typical of bright gold surfaces. The main storage case shows signs of age and blemishes from storage; left side with scuffs and a few blisters to the leather cover; top shows some edgewear and a few small tears to the fabric; door and hinges remain secure. The leather-covered Cow Towns tray is excellent; Trails and Forts trays with a few blemishes to the lids. Interiors are excellent, with the exception of the fabric on the inside of the Fort case, as the gold-colored lining on the lid shows some wear. Extremely Rare Engraved and Gold Inlaid Cased Pair of Colt Commemorative 1777-1977 1860 Army U.S. Cavalry Single Action Revolvers, with engraved shoulder stock and access...moreories. Consists of a pair of 1860 Army Revolvers, #2988US and #US2988, .44 perc. cal., 8'' barrels, dark blue finish, roll engraved naval battle scene on the cylinders, color case hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever, with brass trigger guards; both with one-piece walnut grips, each grip with inspector's cartouche. This beautiful set of revolvers features wolf's head engraving on the hammers, Class ''A'' vine style scroll engraving on the barrels, Class ''B'' on the frame. Bottom of trigger guard on each revolver is marked ''Set No. 28''. Left side of frame is marked in gold ''28 of 40'', with gold band at the muzzle, breech, and rear of cylinder with a gold star between each chamber. Includes a matching numbered walnut shoulder stock with brass hardware and blued saddle ring, nipple wrench, bullet mold, empty cap tin, powder flask, two yellow hang tags, and two keys. Brass portion of the shoulder stock, powder flask collar, sides of bullet mold, and sides of the nipple wrench show vine style scroll engraving. Wood display case with commemorative Cavalry plaque mounted to lid, as well as an additional plaque marked ''Custom Engraved U.S. Cavalry Commemorative 1 of 40'' and blue interior. Both revolvers are unfired, one appears as new. The second revolver is also unfired but has a few blemishes and scratches to the lower left edge of the barrel in between the cylinder and loading lever, which could probably be cleaned and touched up by a professional. Case colors remain vivid and strong; all engraving, factory lettering, and grip cartouches are crisp. Both trigger guards show light toning, and both with intermittent light handling marks to the grips. Accessories are mostly excellent, brass hardware on shoulder stock shows mild tarnishing; right side with an area of light scratching. Case is fine with scattered light scuffs and scratches to the lid and brass plaques; interior is like new. Although there were 40 gold inlaid sets produced, only 23 feature factory engraving. Gun #2: 1851 Navy, #24770, .36 perc. cal., 7.5'' barrel, high polish dark blue finish, color case hardened frame, hammer and loading lever; silver-plated backstrap and squareback trigger guard, and two-piece ivory grips with gold Colt medallions. This revolver features a roll engraved naval battle scene on the cylinder, Class ''C'' engraving, and gold banding similar to the first revolver. Right side of frame is also marked ''1 of 50''. In wood display case with brass plaque mounted to the lid marked ''Colt Navy - Colt Dragoon/1 of 50 Special Edition'', with red interior, and includes an individual set of accessories for each firearm, consisting of a powder flask, bullet mold, nipple wrench, cap tin, and two keys. Both revolvers are in as new unfired condition, with beautiful case colors and crisp engraving. The respective trigger guard on each revolver is tarnished, and each grip has some form of crack near the gold Colt medallions. Accessories are also as new with some mild tarnishing to the brass surfaces. Case interior is excellent; exterior is about fine with scattered shallow scuffs and scratches from storage.
