1. SCOPE -The School Board of Broward County will conduct a public auction of District Owned School Buses and Vehicles which have been declared as surplus to the needs of The District. 2. AUCTION DATE -This auction will be a Timed On-Line Auction. Bids will be received at the National Auction Company's Proxibid Auction Page. The auction will be conducted on Proxibid.com. -Registration for the auction will be through Proxibid.com and bidders will be required to provide credit card information as a means of verification only. -The auction opens on May 25, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. and will end on June 2, 2021 with lots starting to close at 3:00 P.M. -The auction website will make use of staggered closing times but all bids will close June 2, 2021. -All bids will be reported to The School Board of Broward County. All top bid prices and next highest bid price will be reported as the High Bidder and Back-Up Bidder to Broward County personnel. Bids received after published closing times will not be accepted except those that fall under the conditions of Extensions of Bid described in the following bullet. -Extensions of Bid: In the event a bid or bids are made during the last two minutes of an auction, the ending time for the auction will be extended for an additional two minutes. Extensions will continue until no further bids are received within the last two minutes of the auction. Please note the Auctioneer, National Auction Company or The School Board of Broward County have any control over this process. -All School Buses & Vehicles being offered in this Time-Bid Auction will be sold Subject to the Confirmation of the Seller, The School Board of Broward County. Should top bid prices not be confirmed by Broward County personnel, items may be withdrawn from the auction and may be placed in an event to be conducted at a future time at the discretion of the School Board of Broward County. It is expected all top bid prices will be confirmed and Top Bidders will be notified their bid has been accepted within 48 hours from the time the auction closes. -The Auctioneer reserves the right to establish minimum amounts for opening bids and bid increases. In the event bidders do not comply with the minimum amounts stated, bids received that are less than those set forth will not be accepted. 3. PLACE The Auction will be conducted by National Auction Company on the National Auction Company's Proxibid Auction Page. The auction platform of Proxibid will be used for this auction event. 4. INSPECTION OF VEHICLES -School Buses and Vehicles included in this auction are not available for Preview because they are located at restricted Bus Terminals. Pre Event Previews can be scheduled by appointment with the Auctioneer and his staff. Those desiring to preview the auction inventory should contact George Richards to schedule (954-658-5033). -Information has been provided pertaining to each School Bus and Vehicle included in the auction which describes its current condition. Descriptions provided are not guaranteed but are to the best of the ability of the Auctioneer and his staff. Photographs and descriptions will be published on the Auctioneer's website. -The information provided on the Website includes videos of Vehicles that could be started. Some of the Buses were driven from other Broward County School Board Terminals for the convenience of sale. It is possible inventory that is noted as "Non-Run" can be started and driven. To the extent possible, Broward School Board mechanics will assist in the process of starting Buses that are shown with Running Engines. -Every effort has been made to accurately illustrate and describe the condition of every School Bus and Vehicle included in this auction, however, it is possible all defects were not observed. It is also possible that between the time auction materials were gathered and when School Buses & Vehicles are picked up, charging levels in batteries could have changed. The fact those auction materials stated a School Bus started will not be cause for any sale to be voided. Every effort will be made to assist as possible. -The vehicles included in this auction are exempt from odometer/mileage statements. Odometer readings included in the information provided for every School Bus and Vehicle are those reported by the seller and might not be accurate. As possible, odometer readings stated in the auction materials were verified. In the event actual odometer readings are different from that reported in the auction information, the sale will not be invalidated. -Each item included in this auction is specifically offered and sold in As-ls condition without guaranty or warranty either expressed or implied. -Specific information not included on the website can be obtained contacting George Richards at (954) 658-5033. CONDITIONS OF SALE AND DELIVERY -The School Board of Broward County, as a casual seller, is selling surplus School Buses & -Vehicles at Public Auction, for cash, to the highest bidders. -Announcements made by the Auctioneer will be made through the website and e-mailed to -all registered bidders. -Despite efforts to avoid withdrawal of items from the sale list after being published and/or advertised, there can be circumstances when such action could become The School Board of Broward County reserves the right to remove any School Bus or Vehicle and reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids. -All School Buses & Vehicles are being offered and sold "as is" and "where is." The School Board of Broward County or National Auction Company makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied to the operation or condition of any vehicle. Even though great effort is made to assure the accuracy of information, it is possible information provided might not be correct. -Once top bid prices have been received and communicated to Broward County Personnel, all sales are final and not subject to any refunds or exchanges. -All successful bidders (s) agree to comply with all terms and provisions as listed above. 6. BUYER'S PREMIUM -A 7% Buyer's Premium will be added to all top bid prices and included in the final purchase price. 7. NOTIFICATION TO TOP BIDDERS AND PAYMENTS -All Top Bidders will be notified their bid has been accepted by National Auction Company through the E-Mail address supplied at the time of Bidder Registration. -Payments can be made by Cash, Money Order, Certified Check or Cashier's Check. All checks should be made payable to National Auction Company, Auctioneer's Escrow Account. -Personal and Corporate Checks will be accepted only when accompanied by a current bank letter which guarantees payment for purchases made at this auction. -Payments can also be made via Bank to Bank Wire Transfer. Please contact Auctioneer for bank information. -All payments will be accepted starting on June 3 through June 4, 2021, between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. a. Payments must be made at the Northwest Terminal which is located at 2600 NW 18 Terrace, Pompano Beach, Florida 33071. Please watch for Auction Cashier Directions Signs. Signs will be posted at directing purchasers to the area designated for use by National Auction Company. b. Payments can be made between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. c. Motor Vehicle Certificates of Title and keys are only available at the Northwest Terminal (2600 NW 18 Terrace, Pompano Beach, Florida 33071). d. In the event a Top Bidder has purchased more than one item, payment in full must be received before anything can be removed from County property. 8. MOTOR VEHICLE TITLE TRANSFERS -Purchasers will be required to transfer titles into their name (s). -Purchasers will be given the title which must be taken to an authorized Tag Agency. A receipt from the Tag Agency must be provided to National Auction Company before any vehicle{s) can be removed from County property. -Licensed Motor Vehicle dealers must provide a copy of their license and Sales Tax Resale Number at the time of bidder registration. 9. DEFAULT -If a buyer fails to complete the sale under the conditions set forth hereon, or agreed to by The School Board of Broward County, any deposits and/or payments made to the account of the School Board will be forfeited and vehicles will remain the property of the School Board. -If a Top Bidder fails to make payment in full after being notified their bid has been accepted, at the discretion of The School Board of Broward County and/or the Auctioneer, the bidder's name may be subject to removal from the mailing list and may not be permitted to participate in future auctions. Failure to make final payment may result in removal from future bidder registration (s) for other auctions conducted on the Proxibid platform. 10. REMOVAL -School Buses & Vehicles must be removed from Broward County School Board Terminals on or before Friday, June 4 at 3:00 P.M. The School Board of Broward County and National Auction Company are not responsible for any vehicle (s) remaining at the auction site after completion of the auction. -Please be aware School Board policy does not permit anyone other than their licensed drivers to remove any running Bus from any of the Terminals. Accordingly, it is recommended purchasers make contact with the Auctioneer to schedule times for removal from School Board property. As noted in the auction materials, Buses and Vehicles included in this auction are currently located at four Terminals. Entry to any Terminal requires admittance with an Auction Staff member. -Entry times are restricted by operation schedules for operating Buses. School Board staff members and/or drivers are not available after 3:00 P .M. -It will be the responsibility of Top Bidders (Purchasers) to arrange for their own transportation and removal of Non-Running School Buses & Vehicles from School Board. -Bidders/Purchasers should be prepared to have School Buses that are designated in auction materials as non-runners towed. Tow trucks can only enter School Board Terminals when accompanied by Auction Staff members. -Top Bidders (Purchasers) using Towing or Transport Services will be required to be present when School Buses and Vehicles are being removed from Broward County property. -Top Bidders (Purchases) will be required to sign a receipt which shows delivery of purchased School Buses or Vehicles. -Broward County Terminals are located at the following addresses -Northwest Terminal - 2600 NW 18 Terrace, Pompano Beach, Florida 33071 -Central Terminal - 3831 NW 10 Avenue, Oakland Park, Florida 33309 -North Terminal - 1751 NW 22 Avenue, Pompano Beach, Florida 33069 -South Terminal - 900 South University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33025 -Each entrance is secured 24/7 and access requires photo identification. Copies of Purchaser Receipts and Bill of Sale should be made available for inspection by the security guard or School Board Staff. 11. REGISTRATION -All bidders are required to register on the National Auction Company's Proxibid Auction Page. Each Bidder will be assigned a Bidder's Number. The Bidder's Number will be used and that number will be recorded for that sale. 12. DIRECTIONS -FROM 1-95 (Broward County) - Exit at Copans Road and continue West to NW 18 Terrace and turn right. Continue on NW 18 Terrace to the sign which identifies Broward County Schools, Northwest Terminal. Watch for directional signs to the Auction Office. -FROM the Turnpike (Broward County) - Exit at Sample Road After paying toll, continue to the traffic signal and right (east) and continue to Powerline Road. At Powerline Road, turn right and continue to Copans Road. Make a U-Turn and continue to NW 25 Place and turn right. Continue to NW 18 Terrace and turn left.
