Lot consists of (A) Hopkins & Allen model Enders royal scout rolling block single shot rifle. Round barrel hand dovetailed front and rear sights with one barrel band and sling swivel attached. "Enders Royal Heart" engraved on left side of case color hardened receiver along with a native American head. Wood furniture with metal butt plate. CONDITION: Very good overall condition with some original bluing and case coloring remaining. Metal surfaces turning a brown patina with minor scratches and dings. Wood has scratches and handling marks throughout. (B) Remington Number 4 rigid frame model rolling block single shot rifle chambered in .32 Long. Octogen barrel has front and rear dovetailed sights. Wooden furniture with stock screw in the forend and metal butt plate. "32" and serial number stamped on bottom of barrel. CONDITION: Very good overall condition with barrel and receiver turning a brown patina. Wood furniture seems to have been replaced at some point and a repaired crack in the tang is visible. Semi bright bore and good mechanics. Portions of factory applied blued finish are retained on the barrel with majority turning to brown patina. Receiver exhibits brown patina. Stocks have minor impressions and a few bruises. Dark shoutable bore and good mechanics. (B) Stevens Favorite falling block action single shot rifle chambered in .32 Long. Blued 21-3/4" half octagon barrel with blade front sight and King rear. Nickel finished takedown receiver. One piece plain walnut stock with nickel plated butt plate. CONDITION: Good as restored. Barrel and frame cleaned to bright with pitting visible. Nearly all of the reapplied bright nickel retained on butt plate, bottom of receiver, and muzzle. Breech block exhibits a mottled brown gray patina with some cleaned oxidation. Stock has some minor marks and a 3" split at the wrist. Dark shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) Hamilton No. 15 .22 RF caliber single shot boys rifle made circa 1901 to 1910. Round brass lined 8" barrel, fixed blade front sight, adjustable peep rear sight, overall stamped construction with blued finish, and plain walnut stock with added sheet brass butt plate. German "System Aydt" Schuetzen rifle in 8.15x46R, made by "C.G. HAENEL, SUHL". Barrel is marked on top "PR STAHL LAUF" indicating the barrel steel. Barrel is also marked "524", "962", "2.12", "7.7mm", with the standard "BUG" proofs. The serial number "524" is on the barrel and front of receiver. No import marks. The top of the receiver has a gold inlaid "ORIGINAL SYSTEM AYDT" marking. Octagonal blued barrel has the proper front sight, with the removeable post with wings sight insert. Barrel has the 11mm middle sight grooves. Target diopter sight with large disc is mounted on the rear tang, and is fully adjustable. The rear sight assembly is not original to this rifle as it doesn't not fit properly. Rifle has adjustable set triggers. Receiver, trigger guard, floorplate assembly, butt plate, and sight assembly have case hardening and. High quality walnut stock has checkering and a large Tyrolean cheekpiece. Walnut forearm. Butt plate is of the standard Schuetzen style. Sling swivels are mounted on the barrel and stock. The rifle has been modified, for the possible intent of improving accuracy. An aluminum block, approximately 1" x 1.5" x 1/4" has been mounted, via three screws, to the front of the forearm. Another aluminum block, approximately 2" x .5" x 1/4", under the trigger assembly with two screws, though only one remains. Its absence can be noticed when looking at the trigger assembly once the rifle is assembled. CONDITION: Rifle is overall very good to excellent and retains approximately 85-90% of its original blued finish with some blemishes, and 70-75% of its case hardening. Stock has light dings and scratches, light damage to the stock checkering, and a half inch piece of wood missing in front of the lower end of the butt plate. Bore is slightly dark and may clean up, set triggers function properly, and rifle is mechanically sound. Full rib on top of the barrel with a blade front sight and a fixed u-notch rear. Tang safety and double a double set trigger. Barrel is blued, with the frame being still in the white. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Checkering on the wrist and forearm, in addition to a capped pistol grip. Check rest on the left side. Sling swivels on the barrel and butt stock. Checkered horn butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its finishes with most areas forming a brown patina. Stock has handling marks and scratches. Cody Research confirms all options and configuration and states gun was returned for repair on April 04, 1903.
