falling block. This is one of the highest embellished examples of a Hans Larsen Tennstempel rifle with a very bright shiny bore having a barrel that is marked "STAAL / JOH. S GUDIM / FREDRIKSSTAD", a carved horn trigger guard with an engraved steel bow and a horn forend tip on the checkered walnut forend that is also engraved with a leaf pattern just forward of the receiver. The walnut checkered straight grip butt stock is nicely figured with a cheek rest and some light wear from handling along with a few spot marks. Mostly all the metal surfaces except for the barrel and sights are engraved in a scrollwork / wandering line motif or some form of starburst as found on the screw heads with the butt plate and lower retaining screw having a seamless cross block engraving as well. The trigger is checkered and has a set screw. The falling block mechanism is actuated by a receiver mounted lever that is drawn up and rearward. Mostly all the metal surfaces have a brown or gray/brown mottled patina throughout with only very minor handling marks present the most noticeable being on the left side and shoulder of the receiver. There is a small amount of light fine pitting present on the adjustable rear sight which has no graduation markings. The rear sight along with the adjustable front sight that has a brass tip are both integrated to the ribbed barrel. The rifle is fitted with sling swivels as well.

The shotgun's bores shine mirror bright and are fitted with a solid concave knurled rib which has a single silver tone bead. The right barrel is choked "IC" and marked "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" with the left barrel choked "IM" and marked "MADE BY A. H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A.". The underside of the barrel flats are marked "A 28444" with a Fox proof. The serial number is also located on the underside of the checkered walnut forend, on the water table and on the trigger guard. The receiver is engraved and retains a majority of the case coloring. The break action lever is very far right of center as it appears the gun was not fired much at all. The trigger guard is engraved and blued and the forend release is engraved showing case coloring. The blued finish shows only the slightest of thinning at the muzzle with a touch of light freckling left side of the barrel at the receiver. The walnut checkered pistol grip butt stock has a round grip knob and a black composite serrated butt plate with a 13 5/8" L.O.P. The butt stock shows assorted light scratches and assorted handling wear. The forend is checkered showing only minor light handling. 20-9-24

lever-action. Marlin started manufacturing the 410 in 1929. It was based off of a Model 1893 but having a longer loading port along with a modified tube magazine capable of holding five shells and a single bead front sight. Production was continued through 1932. The top of the tang is marked "Marlin/410" with the serial number being present on the lower tang. It has an intact bullseye and a Marlin marked black composite checkered shotgun style butt plate. The bore shines mirror bright with some case coloring present on the lever along with some freckling. The butt plate shows a few small losses on the edge with a 13.5" L.O.P. The smooth walnut pistol grip stock shows some light scattered handling marks with the finger groove forend showing assorted surface scratches. The blued forend cap is missing the left side retaining screw and shows some light scratches same side. The remaining blued metal surfaces show some thinning and a few areas of light freckling most noticeable on the right side of the receiver. 21-1-8

The bore shines very bright with nice rifling, being a takedown version with a full length magazine and having an octagonal barrel. A very unusual Marbles' front sight is fitted with the rear barrel sight being blocked with a Marble blank and having a Lyman folding tang mounted peep. The bluing on the barrel and tube show some thinning with scattered handling and wear marks. The forend cap shows very little factory finish. The receiver has a mostly brown/blue mottled patina with scattered light surface scratches and assorted handling wear. The smooth walnut butt stock and forend both stand proud to the metal with some light pressure indentations and light scratches. The butt stock has a straight grip and is fitted with a steel crescent rifle butt plate. The forend measures 9 3/8" long. 20-9-22

Manufactured in 1935 having a mirror bright bore and fitted with a Marble-Goss rear sight with a "WIN.52" marked dovetail base. There are also two scope mount bases installed. The front sight tube shows a small tool mark on the back right edge with the trigger and safety showing some old light pitting. If not for these area of imperfection the rifle would have been rated excellent because the rest of the rifle shows only very minor light handling with the factory blued metal finish showing almost no thinning except for on the trigger guard bow, barrel band and front sight tube. The rifle appears as follows having a Lyman receiver mounted adjustable peep sight with an adjustable for windage front. An octagonal barrel with a two line address marked on the top flat forward of the rear sight which has been removed and a blank installed. The barrel flat at the rear is marked .32 W.S. on the top. The tang is marked with a three line model designation. Full length tube magazine with a set trigger and a crescent steel rifle butt plate. The walnut butt stock and forend are both smooth with the butt stock having a pistol grip with a factory embossed grip cap. The wood shows very little wear from handling. The metal surfaces show thinning to the bluing throughout with some light handling wear present. 20-9-25
