1960's Biosatellite NASA Model In Wooden Box

Lot # 23 (Sale Order: 25 of 449)      

A vintage 1/8 scale Biosatellite model from NASA measuring 11" high on its stand and 7" diameter at the back. It is made of a hollow lightweight material and detaches from its stand. It comes complete in its original 9"x 13"x 15" wooden storage box - the molded foam inside has long since deteriorated to dust, but foam can be replaced. The model has a small piece loose and rattling around inside, but that does not affect its display. It also could use a proper cleaning.
