Savage model 1914 slide action rifle - Serial no. 38900, 22 short through long rifle, 24" barrel, blue finish with dark brown wooden stock and fore end. All original bluing has turned a even brown patina. The octagon barrel has spotty rust throughout. Telescopic rear peep site made by Marble. Fore end appears to be missing screw on left side but is otherwise in good condition. Shoulder stock shows some wear but otherwise good condition. Metal butt plate screws are all in good condition. Numbers match inside and out. Overall condition good....more

Breach gate has metal filler present to replace damaged area. Light rust on hammer. Left side of stock reads "Saxon" underneath loading gate. Small crack present on left side of stock. Stock has various handling marks throughout. Proof marks present on barrel and loading gate. Loading gate is marked 1697. Bore pitted throughout. Overall good condition....more

Hamilton & Sons model 27 single shot rifle - Serial no. N/A, 22 caliber, 16 1/8" barrel, blue finish with wooden stock and fore end. All metal retains traces of original bluing with majority of bluing being on the receiver. Barrel has light scratches and traces of surface rust throughout. Fore end has tight hairline crack on right side near pivot point of barrel. Stock is free from cracks but has been several blemishes on the butt. This rifle was produced between 1907 and 1930. Bore is in good condition. Left side of receiver is marked "The Hamilton Rifle No 27 22 Cal. Patented Oct. 30. 1900 - Aug. 13. 1907 MFD. By C. J. Hamilton & Son Plymouth, Mich. U.S.A." Fair overall condition. Would make a nice project gun....more

Remington model 24 semi-automatic rifle - Serial no. 68018, 22 long rifle, 19" barrel blue finish with wooden stock and fore end. Barrel retains very high amount blue finish. There are some dark spots and traces freckling on the barrel. The only noticeable wear on the barrel would be at the muzzle caused by case wear. Receiver is in very good condition and shows minimal wear or handling marks. Wooden fore end has two small chips missing from each side at the top where fore end wraps around the barrel. Stock has some light scratches and handling marks on each side but is in great overall condition. Bore in good bright condition showing pitting. Very Good overall condition....more

Shoulder stock has numerous handling marks throughout and a large crack running from the left side of the wrist to the top. Top of wrist has been fixed with multiple screws and nails. Butt plate present. Both bores are pitted. Barrel reads "Laminated Steel Belgium". Overall poor condition....more

Stevens Long Tom single shot shotgun - Serial no. 74337, 12 gauge, 40" barrel, blue finish with wooden stock and fore end. Barrel is in very good overall condition. Underside of the barrel shows some light wear, but is very faint. Long barrel has a bright bore free from any pitting. Stock and fore end have some shallow scratches on each side that do not detract from the appearance. Case colored receiver is marked "Long Tom". Barrel is stamped " Choke Bored, and Genuine Armory Steel" outside of the serial number these are the only markings on this gun. Very good overall condition....more

The receiver has wild life scenes on each side making for a unique touch. The bore is in excellent condition. The wooden fore end and stock have deep sharp checkering although they each respectively show mild handling marks. The butt plate is in very good condition. This 16 gauge comes with original box. Gew 98 Manufactured by Waffenfabrik Mauser. Serial no. 9172. Bolt Action rifle chambered for 8mm. Has a 29" barrel, features a graduated rear sight up to 2000 meters. The sporterized stock appears to be lightly sanded. There is a wood plug on the underside of the rear stock behind the wrist. Metal retains traces of blue finish. The magazine fore plate and trigger guard are black in color with scratches showing. The bore is in excellent condition. Barrel receiver bolt and safety are all matching numbers. The receiver is marked Waffenfabrik Mauser A.-G Oberndorf A/N 1916. Good overall condition....more

Winchester 1893 Shotgun

Lot # 116 (Sale Order: 120 of 875)      

Winchester model 1893 slide action shotgun - Serial no. 594, 12 gauge, 30" barrel blue finish with wooden stock and fore end. All metal has turned to a soothing brown patina. Barrel and magazine have spotty patches of freckling. Receiver has an even brown patina with some finish loss near hammer. Fore end has a small chip approximately .25"x .25" on bottom rear, while here is a tight crack that runs diagonally on the left side approximately 3" long. Stock has a crack that starts on the ride side of the wrist directly above the rear of the trigger guard. The crack is approximately 1.5" long. The left side of the wrist where the stock meets the trigger guard is missing a chip approximately 1.5" long by .25" wide. The missing chip enables the number 168 to be seen on the trigger guard. There is a rubber slide on recoil pad in place. The stock has a whole in the end of it. Bore has some pitting throughout. good overall....more

Remington Repeating Shotgun

Lot # 119 (Sale Order: 123 of 875)      

Remington model repeating shotgun - Serial no. 69627, 12 gauge, 30" barrel, blued barrel with wooden stock and fore end. The metal surfaces retain a high amount of finish despite having some scratches on top and bottom of barrel from fore end to muzzle. The tubular magazine shows brazing repair marks on the underside and there is a small dent on its right side. Fore end has two tight cracks on its right side that are approximately 2" long, otherwise in good condition. Top of barrel is marked "Remington Arms Co, Ilion, NY, U.S.A. Patents, Feby.3, 1903, May 15, 1905." Rod connected to fore end is marked "Trade Mark Remington". The receiver shows some light wear throughout but is in very good condition. Stock shows some storage were on right side but has a large chip missing on left side near top tang. This missing chip should be replaced before the gun is used. Black plastic Remington Arms co butt plate is in very good condition and is free from any cracks or chips. Bore has pitting throughout. This early Remington shotgun was produced circa 1910. Good overall condition....more
