Engraved Pinfire Revolver

3 ¼” is about 7.5 mm and has a lightly rusted bore. This pistol is coarsely engraved ad retains about 65-70% nickel plating. Hard rubber grips are good. The cylinder doesn’t index and the hammer doesn’t stay cocked (probably needs a mainspring – a project pistol)....more

Model 1894 Krag Carbine-sporterized

Lot # 4 (Sale Order: 4 of 399)      

22" barrel is chambered for the 30-40 Krag cartridge and has a great bore. The left side of the receiver is marked U.S. over 1894 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 7136. The military rear sight is missing and a Pacific micrometer peep sight has been installed on the receiver. The wood stock extends about 2.25" past the barrel band with swivel and there is a filler block inserted where the cleaning rod channel was.The wood stock is very good and the overall length of this little carbine is 41". Should make a nice little hunting rifle....more

Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver

Lot # 6 (Sale Order: 6 of 399)      

7 7/5” Round barrel is .44 caliber and has a decent bore with some rust. The top of the barrel is marked “Address Col. Same Colt – New York, U.S. America” in one line. Metal surfaces are mostly brown and very little of the cylinder scene remains. The brass trigger guard has a nice patina. All numbers including the wedge match. The barrel and cylinder are both stamped with a “C” and an “R”; the trigger guard has an “X”. The wood grips are very good with about 40% varnish. This pistol works well and is a possible civil war veteran as it was made in 1862....more

Ww 2 Eickhorn German Army Officer's Dagger

Lot # 9 (Sale Order: 9 of 399)      

Starting at the base of the handle, the dagger has a domed pommel with a vertical oak leaf design, the orange celluloid handle has a spiral ribbed design running to a horizontal ferrule with more oak leaves , and the cross-guard has the German Army eagle, holding a wreath with a swastika in its talons. The ends of the cross-guard have a scrolled design with a silvered finish. The double edged stiletto-style blade is 10" long and bears the maker's proof mark for the Carl Eickhorn Firm of Solingen. The scabbard has an alligatored texture and 2 oak leaf bands with rings to mount to hanging straps. Complete with a hanging silver "Portepee" or sword-knot....more

New York State 71st Regt. Swallow-tailed Full Dres

Period Civil War dark blue jacket has a single row of 9 eagle buttons down the front, with a set of large 71st regiment buttons on either side, complete with a fancy black ¼” braid; the collars have a single gold braid over white stripe, finished with the small eagle buttons and epaulet mounts on the shoulders. Nonfunctional cuff with 4 gold-braided bars with buttons stacked under a single stripe. The back features a long swallowed tail with beige trim, braided stars and matching bars with buttons on either tail. Has a quality lined interior with inner pocket. In very good condition, no noted losses....more

Receiver is an even brown color, buttplate is brass with nice patina. Wood is in good condition with the usual nicks and dents and the number 2 stamped behind lower tang.
