Austrian Import Civil War Musket

Austrian import Civil War musket. 36 ½" barrel, 54 caliber, most likely a confederate import. Butt-plate and lock retaining bar are both stamped with a V and number 18, lock plate stamped with 862. Wood stock has two long, but tight cracks from back of trigger guard to butt-plate and front of trigger guard to first band. Part octagon barrel is a mixture of brown and gray and has the letter B stamped on top flat next to nipple....more

Tryon, Phila. Full Stock Kentucky Style Rifle

Lot # 152 (Sale Order: 152 of 399)      

43" barrel of about 50 caliber. Engraved lock is marked London warranted in two lines. Barrel is marked Tryon Philad with 3 stars in front and 3 at the end of the letters. Brass butt-plate, patchbox and trigger guard that extends all the way to the first ramrod ferrule. Patchbox opens by depressing a small bow on the bottom side of the butt-stock. Wood stock is in very nice condition with an added coat of finish. Cheek-piece has three flutes carved in. A very attractive rifle....more

7th New York State Milita National Guard Uniform

The enlisted gray shell jacket has 9 large New York State Militia (NYSM) National Guard buttons down the front; the collar has a 3/8” black braid and shoulder straps with small buttons (1 missing). Has a 3 button nonfunctional cuff with black vertical stripes; the shell has a single pocket below the right breast, the back has 2 buttons and sash straps. Lined interior with left inner pocket, the collar tag is signed by the prestigious “Brooks Bros. - Broadway, New York”. Some inner collar wear, wear to left front breast, small moth hole and some staining on the left arm. The trousers are gray with a single black stripe, they are marked inside of the waist “W32 x 27”; has a minor moth hole....more

West Point Long Tailed Cadets Dress Jacket

1880 Kentucky State Swallow Tailed Full Dress Coat

Lot # 171 (Sale Order: 171 of 399)      

The green jacket made by M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus Ohio has a single row of 9 regimental buttons (1 missing) down the front, with a set of large matching buttons on either side; the buttons read “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”, with an image of two men shaking hands (may be Grant and Lee). The collars have a single gold braid and light blue stripe, finished with the small buttons and epaulet mounts on the shoulders. Nonfunctional cuff with 4 stacked gold-braided bars with buttons (1 missing). The back features a long swallowed tail with thin gold braiding, and matching bars with buttons on either tail (6 buttons missing right side). Has a quality lined interior with inner pocket. In very good condition....more

The left side of the receiver is marked with the number 76, “Remington” in script, “Mle 1907-15” and the right side of the barrel in front of the receiver is marked “RAC 1907-15”. The wood stock is in excellent condition and is also stamped with the number 76. This rifle comes with a brass hilted bayonet with scabbard. A World War I veteran in unusually good condition....more
