A valid driver's license or other picture id will be required for verification when picking up merchandise. It will be understood and agreed that each item is sold as is, where is, with NO warranty written or implied. It is also understood that if I fail to provide payment for a given item at close of auction, Hertzog Auction will take appropriate legal steps to recover its costs or to enforce the contract of sale with all cost associated with this process to be paid by the bidder. Note: a 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price to arrive the total contract purchase price to be paid by the buyers in addition to the 3 percent handling fee if a credit card is used. Bidding Hertzog Auction may auction items at a rate of 130+ lots per hour. Periodically, the Proxibid applet or the internet connection may not keep pace with the auction. We recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now to help in these instances. The auctioneer may reject an online or live bid or may reopen a lot after the close of bidding. By bidding at this auction either live or online, you agree that the auctioneer shall have final say in all disputes including but not limited to tie bids. Addition or Deletion From Sale: Hertzog Auction Inc. reserves the right to withdraw from sale any of the items listed, to sell at this auction items not listed, to group or subdivide lots. Timely Payment: The successful bidder must pay for the purchase of all lots immediately following the conclusion of the auction. Shipping/Pick up of Firearms Arrangements can be made for out of state shipments. If the gun is going out of state and being shipped, it will be required to be transferred between a Missouri FFL Dealer and an FFL Dealer in your state. Processing charges will be charged to the seller. A $25 transfer fee plus the cost of shipment/postage will be added to your final invoice. Antique guns will not be charged a $25 transfer fee but shipment/postage will be added to your invoice. All sales are final. In state Items may be picked-up, in-person, at the auction house by appointment only. Gun Shipment : Hertzog Auction ships the guns via USPS. Standard shipping rates apply and the charge for shipment will be 35 dollars. So, if the firearm needs to go through our FFL, total shipping fees will be 25 ( for FFL) and 35 for shipment for a total of 60 dollars. For Fishing items: Hertzog Auction ships items via USPS. Standard shipping rates apply and the charge for shipment will be 10 dollars. We will combine like items into the same package so you will only be charged for as many boxes as we have to take to the post office. For example, if you buy 4 fishing lures, we will place all lures into the same box and you will get 1 - 10 fee. IF you buy a gun and a lure, you will get a 35 shipment fee and the lure will be in the same box as the gun. We make every effort to keep your purchase safe in packing materal, but ship for economy as well. Arrangements can be made for out of state shipments. If the gun is going out of state and being shipped, it will be required to be transferred between a Missouri Dealer with a Federal Firearm License and a Federal Firearm License dealer in your state.
