U.S. Civil War Cavalry cartridge box with cavalry plate on front. Appears to have been used to display bayonets, for there are three holes in the box in the shape of bayonet blades. Second is a pair of gentleman's opera glasses made by Duhme and Co., Cincinnati. Third is a WWII German ammo pouch.

Many of the medals, badges, and pins feature portraits of Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, who is commonly known as the Turnvater Jahn, or "Father of Gymnastics" Jahn. Highlights include the In Arte Voluptas Cincinnatia and the Schlaraffia Totowa medals, each marked A. Schwerdt Stuttgart on verso, 4 in. long.
