Online bidders who do not attend the on-site preview understand and expect that they may not be able to inspect items as well as if they inspected these items in person. The bidder is responsible for determining the condition, authenticity and value of any item in which they choose to place a bid. Pennington Auction provides supplementary information on the quality and condition of our items, but please be advised that this is not a GUARANTEED representation. Each item is described to the best of our ability as we have exceptional knowledge of most items we sell. We strongly encourage bidders to view items in person so that they can make their own determinations on the items they are bidding on. Pennington Auction shall not be held responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the item unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item or lot itself. Bidder forfeits the right to instigate credit card charge backs and shall contact Pennington Auction with any disputes or claims. General inquiries about items up for auction are welcome. We have predetermined if each lot offered in our auctions is shippable or not, and that information is available within the lot description area for each item. Our general rule is that we will not ship anything that is large, heavy, awkward, or very fragile. If a lot description reads “NO SHIPPING” or "NOT SHIPPABLE" then it must be picked up in person. If the buyer still chooses to have the item shipped, it is the buyers responsibility to make shipping all necessary arrangements and payments. If you have concerns or questions about shipping a particular item, please contact us prior to bidding via phone or email. Buyer is responsible for any additional shipping charges that may incur other than what is described here. If a buyer purchases multiple items from us, we are more than happy to package your items into one box, saving you considerable shipping and handling costs. Firearms, if shipped, will need to be shipped through an Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder for legal transfer to the purchaser. Purchaser will need to provide a signed copy of the FFL holder's license that will be handling the transfer and we will have the firearm(s) shipped to the licensee. Purchaser will pay all applicable fees plus a $10 service charge.
