WWII photos of Hitler, Goering and other Luftwaffe Officers
This is a collection of two 8"x 10" photos each include images of Hitler. One appears to be Hitler and Goering. The other appears to be Hitler, Osterkamp, and some others we haven't been able to identify. They are most likely developed from negatives brought back by U.S. soldiers. The owner's mother worked at a print shop in Western, MA. and had access to photos which were developed less than perfect. These are in great condition. These may be unpublished. A large vase made of translucent pale green glass, with a pattern of cherubs and foliage. The foliage appears to be hand-painted, the cherubs may be hand painted or may be a transfer (we can't tell for sure). Clean, with no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. First Edition First Printing Doctor Seuss "Horton Hatches The Egg".
Nice condition, especially for a 70 year old childrens' book. Pages all intact with no tears that we could find. There is an owner's signature inside the front and there are two or three pages with pencil marks that look like dates, other than that it is clean. There is very slight foxing on the pages, more severe on the inside covers. The cover is worn, with a couple of dark spots. The corners are worn through as are the top and bottom of the spine, the spine is also torn for about an inch at the top. Lot of 4 GE Mazda Edison light bulbs
We tested these and three were working. These bulbs would have been made prior to 1945, when GE dropped the "Mazda" trademark. They are original, not modern replicas. All four bear GE logos and the word "Mazda", some are marked "Edison", others "National". Two bear labels that indicate 115v 25w. "Mazda" was the GE brand name for their tungsten-filament light bulbs, however they in an attempt to bring about standardization in the light bulb industry licensed the name to many other manufacturers who were willing to comply with their standard dimensions. You will receive the exact bulbs shown in the photos.
