NOS Vintage WWII military contract Fahlin propeller for Cessna AT-17 Bobcat
What a find! New old stock Fahlin propeller in fine original condition, having no signs of ever being mounted. Markings are as follows: ENG. R-755-9; H.P. 225; R.P.M. 2000; A.T.17; DWG. NO. 43K13605; SER. NO. A.C.13384. From what I could find on the internet concerning the markings, this prop was built under military contract in 1943 and was to be mounted on one of the two Jacobs R-755-9 engines that powered our Cessna AT-17 Bobcats. The Sensenich Common Designation Number is either 90JA-79 or 90JA-81, depending on blade pitch. This beautiful piece of aviation history is 7-1/2 feet long. Of course it would look great on your wall, but because of its exceptional condition it may also be a candidate for restoration/recertification and use. I am grateful to have been entrusted to sell this, and am going to be sad to see it leave our warehouse. Feel free to call with questions or to discuss - Adam at 715-657-0078. When is the EAA Convention?
