Item Description: Translate description
is in overall very fine condition with a 30” heavy octagon barrel. The rifle sports a blade front sight made from bone and a standard ladder rear sight. The barrel retains the majority of its muted blue original finish. The receiver and lock plate show significant original case color and double set triggers.. The serial numbers are matching on both the barrel flats and the tang. The smooth wood stocks are in very fine condition as well showing only small mars and marks consistent with storage. The buttstock ends with a checkered steel butt plate. The rifle is accompanied by a letter of appraisal dated April of 1986 by Dixie Gun Works of Union City, Tennessee. A great looking, high condition Sharps rifle. Antique. Est.: $7,000-$14,000.
