206 cid inline six-cylinder engine, 80 HP, three-speed manual transmission, front suspension, rear semi-floating axle, four-wheel drum brakes; wheelbase: The 1934 Chevrolet Master and Standard continued Chevrolet's many-year old practice of building two distinct series of cars on different wheelbase lengths. The 1934 Chevrolet Master, in fact, now measured 112 inches, two inches longer than the 1933 model. Both models retained six-cylinder power, but modifications to the Master's 206-cubic-inch engine boosted horsepower from 65 to 80. The lovely Blue Flame engine compartment on the Sport Roadster offered today is simply excellent, with a highly accurate restoration that remains in very good condition and runs smoothly. Chevrolet's big news for 1934 was adoption of "Knee-Action," the sealed Dubonnet type of independent front suspension. Standard equipment on the Master series, it would not be offered on Standard models for a few more years. Longer, heavier, and more powerful than ever, this Master Sport Roadster is a very desirable Chevrolet, and quite rare with the combination of a factory covered spare with a rumble seat. The woodgrain dashboard looks impeccable, and the faux-leather red upholstery is in excellent condition and looks very period-authentic. It's even got the correct kick-out windscreen that looks like new. Your purchase includes new side curtains that match the new top, a custom car cover, and a battery tender. The two-tone gray paint finishes are excellent and correct, with fine chrome and trim throughout. This Sport Roadster features the cool Eagle radiator cap, rear locking hubcap for the spare, and NOS Firestone wide whitewall tires. It's certainly ready for any club tours, car shows, or family vacations you have in mind, and will deliver the family in a unique and sporty style that is undeniable. This seldom seen icon represents the zenith of Chevrolet production for the era, and it is offered in highly original condition from a well-respected collection. With few built they rarely become available and in attractive colors and lovely panel fit, it might just be the ideal addition to your collection.
