This 1940 Packard Super 8 Victoria convertible was owned and restored by James Hollingsworth the author of the book Packard 1940 A Pivotal Year. Starting with an excellent authentic original and using many NOS factory-original parts it was completely restored to show and drive. The Classic Car Club of America awarded it a First Place in national competition. Its paint finish is the correct original Centennial Blue and its equipped with the legendary 356ci 8-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission deluxe steering wheel heater defroster fender skirts Cormorant hood ornament and modern Hi-Speed axle gears. It has less than 5000 miles since restoration.
