SPECS: Smooth walnut stock with contoured forearm tip, adjustable notch sling rail under the forearm, ribbed metal buttplate, 26" heavy "X-Barrel", Redfield fully adjustable side-mounted rear peep sight, barrel/receiver mounted scope ring bases, dovetailed front globe sight with post, grooved trigger shoe and 5-round steel magazine. CONDITION: This rifle is in nice condition with some various light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Stevens Model 416 is a .22 LR caliber bolt-action target rifle that was produced from 1937 to 1949. It was offered with 24" or 26" heavy barrels and had a 5-shot detachable magazine. The U.S. Government purchased 10,338 M416s from 1941-1943, which were used as training rifles. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.
