The serial number & date code ("KK") on this Remington Model 700 BDL rifle reflects a May of 1963 production date. SPECS: Glossed Monte Carlo walnut stock with skip line fleur-de-lis pattern checkering/ raised cheek & high fluted comb, black forearm tip with white spacer, black grip cap with white spacer, 20" barrel with recessed crown, original Remington checkered aluminum buttplate, factory drilled/tapped barrel top for rear sights, hooded ramp front sight, checkered bolt handle, grooved trigger, sling rings with brown tooled leather sling, hinged floorplate and mounted Weaver K6 scope. CONDITION: This rifle is in nice condition with very light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Model 700 is a series of bolt-action center-fire rifles manufactured by Remington Arms since 1962. Remington initially produced two variants of the Model 700, the ADL and BDL (Average Deluxe & Better Deluxe) in both long- and short-action rifles that allowed for the chambering of different cartridges. The main difference between Remington 700 ADL and BDL is the magazine type. The 700 ADL sports a blind magazine while the BDL has a hinged magazine. The Remington Model 700 BDL has no equal and is a superior performer in every way. The receiver on all Model 700 rifles is milled from round cross-section steel making it as dependable as it is stylish. It has become the standard footprint by which all other center-fire rifles are measured and continually fall short. Its strong, smooth action, consistent accuracy, classic beauty and unequaled value have made it the hunter's favorite center-fire rifle for more than 60 years. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders. PLEASE READ ALL TERMS BEFORE PARTICIPATING: There is no live crowd, no phone bidding, no left bids and we do not accept payment through the mail.
