1966 JAGUAR XKE SERIES I ROADSTER

This beautiful 1966 Jaguar Series I E-type roadster has received a comprehensive no-expense-spared documented restoration by well-known Jaguar professionals. The XKE is in a spectacular color combination of red over a black interior and has benefited from an extensive list of high-performance upgrades and comfort options. During the XKEs restoration it was stripped to down to bare metal then painted wet sanded and buffed to its beautiful finish. The interior of the roadster has been trimmed with a new BASS interior complemented with restored bows and a new soft-top. Under the bonnet the E-Types engine and suspension were completely rebuilt and all other systems were carefully gone through to ensure great driving pleasure. The roadster features a number of mechanical and performance upgrades which includes rebuilding the 4.2-liter with overhead cam engine headers triple SU carburetors a 5-speed fully synchronized transmission and high-torque starter. It also has a stainless-steel exhaust Gaz adjustable shocks Wilwood brakes braided stainless brake lines an alloy radiator with auxiliary fan and poly bushings throughout. Since the restoration the roadster has been well cared for and has been recently sorted by marque specialists at Classic Showcase of Oceanside CA. Its also equipped with optimal performance upgrades and desirable Series I features such as covered headlights comfortable bucket seats toggle switches on the dash fabulous instrumentation a center console and arm rest. The E-Type is accompanied by a JDHT Certificate and a bundle of receipts documenting the extensive restoration process.
