1983 PORSCHE 944

Introduced in North America in the fall of 1982 as a 1983 model the Porsche 944 fixed the perceived faults of the 924 and a fourth Porsche model line came onto the market. The Porsche 944 bridged the price and performance gap between the 924 and the 911 SC. This Porsche 944 features a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine developed by Porsche mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. A front spoiler painted in the exterior color of the car with square rubber buffers as well as much wider slightly angular wings clearly distinguishes the 944 from the 924. The first-year 944 weighed in at just under 2800 pounds. CARFAX shows mileage inconsistency on 07/24/2008.
