1992 Model 1700 Hi Max by Team Aircraft of Tennessee.
This airplane kit is part of an estate we are liquidating. The history of the plane is unknown. However, it appears to be excellent workmanship on all of the parts
that have been completed. The fuselage, wings, tail fin and tail flaps are there and partially covered with the material.
We found a new prop still in the box.
The engine is a twin cylinder Rotex GMBH Gunskirchen type 503 H96,7cc, bore 2x72mm stroke 61mm Motor #3763704.
the condition of the engine is unknown but it does turn over ok.
There are some cans of resins, paints, and small parts in a box including a windshield, but it is unknown how much more will be needed. The set of plans is complete. We could find no builders log.
On investigation the
company that made the kit has gone out of business, but there is a successor company, JDT Mini-Max, offering a very similar version called the 1700R.
From their website you can get the specs of the plane which are probably the same.
We have no title or other paperwork for ownership available. It is doubful that since it is supposed to be a homemade aircraft, that any ever existed.
