Fleshy, full-bodied, and chewy, it will be undeniably seductive upon release. It should drink well for 15+ years. 1998 Freemark Abbey Merlot: Established in 1886, The Merlot expresses red and blue fruits, composed of dried cherries, ripe strawberry, blue berry cobbler, fruit cake, red raspberry jam, and plum. A very pleasant complexity includes baking spice, leather, milk chocolate and arugula.
