Civil War era military sword by Ames of Chicopee Mass. Stamped U.S. DR, 1863. With steel scabbard, brass guard, and wire-wrapped leather hilt. Marks and wear from use, espresso patina to scabbard and mottled gray patina to blade. overall good and solid. 43" long overall. Dents to scabbard.
