Payment
All invoices and shipping totals will be tallied and charged to the card on file with Proxibid within 48 hours of the end of the auction.
If you have questions about shipping, pick-ups, specific lots or anything else, please contact us BEFORE bidding. If you wish to pay with a card other that the card on file with Proxibid, you should let us know before the end of the auction to avoid a delay. There will be a $25 fee for charging through any means other than Proxibid.
All items will be shipped within 48 hours of payment, often 24 or less. We are usually working on invoicing as we package winning bids so that we can have your bids shipped to you quickly with an accurate shipping cost.
Paid total includes the amount paid for each lot, buyer's premium, applicable tax, handling/box fee and applicable shipping fee and insurance.
PICKUP is available at Silvermoon Antiques and Consignment Barn, in Lewisburg PA as well as in Ringwood NJ, via Signup Genius. If you are local to one of our locations, and want to pick up from our auctions...
Silvermoon in Lewisburg PA is open every day but Tuesday, 10am to 5pm for pickup. Items are guaranteed available by Friday morning following the auction at the store.
Ringwood NJ Pickups will be scheduled contactless curbside pickups through SignUp Genius. Should you choose not to use Signup Genius, we WILL assess a $10 convenience fee. If you do not notify us or do not show up for your Pickup slot (particularly with NO notice), we may assess a $10 cancellation fee.
SignUp Genius email alerts will be sent by Wednesday morning following the auction, with paid invoice.
Pickup Slots are 15 minutes and will be scheduled Friday and Saturday following the auction. Friday slots for this auction are approximately 10am-3pm on the Friday following the auction. Saturday slots for this auction are approximately 10:00am through noon on the Saturday following the auction, and Monday followng the auction 10-1pm. PLEASE HELP US FOLLOW NJ LAW BY FOLLOWING OUR GUIDELINES. Thank you.
If you choose to pick up your winning bids instead of having them mailed, please contact us through email or phone BEFORE the end of the auction to avoid any accidental charges. Pickup in Lewisburg, PA during store hours is free. Lock Haven area is currently by appointment direct with the auctioneer. Timely pickup in Ringwood, NJ is free. If you are in between or nearby, feel free to contact us for other options. We can deliver for an agreed upon fee.
PA residents will be charged a 6% sales tax unless you send Merchant's Wares a REV-1220 Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate, which we will keep on file for future auctions. NJ Residents will be charged NJ Sales tax. You can register your Sales Tax ID with Proxibid, and PA AND NJ residents with a number on file with Proxibid will not be charged sales tax.
If you prefer to use your own shipper, you may choose to pick up your items Ringwood NJ. Merchant's Wares has several locations and the auctioneer travels regularly between them. Items are shipped from 17745, or nearby. We are often on the road, text messages are often the fastest method of contact to the auctioneer 201-694-2773 - If you want an option other than USPS Priority Mail for shipping, we appreciate it if you would contact Merchant's Wares before the auction, even if you are unsure if you will win an item.

Merchant's Wares may attempt to describe the merchandise online and in advertising, or through other means available, but may not be held responsible for having made or implied a warranty or a representation of fitness for any particular purpose. IT IS UP TO YOU, as the BUYER, to determine the value of each lot and to consider shipping and other fees before bidding. Please ask us BEFORE YOU BID if you have any questions!
Online bidders who do not inspect the items must understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item online as well as they might inspect an item in person. It is the Bidders responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Merchant's Wares will endeavor to describe in-detail each item and any pertinent information about it. Merchant's Wares will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as-is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
Merchant's Wares endeavors to provide detailed pictures, adequate and accurate descriptions. You may contact us if you have questions about specific items. There is NO live portion of this auction, but we do offer a gallery space for inspection when possible. You may also choose to pick up your winning bids in Lewisburg during store hours, or in Ringwood, NJ on your scheduled pickup slot.
ALL Pick-ups must be made within 15 days of full payment, or holding/storage charges may be incurred. If items are not picked up within 30 days, they may be resold, with no refund to the original bidder. Special arrangements for large orders or certain circumstances may be made with the auctioneer directly, BEFORE the end of the auction.
Box/Handling Fee - This fee covers materials and time needed to package your items safely including (and not limited to) boxes, bubblewrap, foam peanuts, foam packaging, tape, labels, etc.
We want you, our bidders, to be happy with your purchases. If you are not sure about an item and want more information, please ask! There are NO returns and NO refunds. We will do our best to provide you with information, and if needed, will announce the additional information in the announcement sections.
Fees for items not picked up in a timely manner are $5 per day per item, which will be incurred starting 15 days after original invoice was sent.
