Item Details
Extremely rare Colt Single Action Army revolver chambered in .357 caliber. Colt began production of the .357 in 1936 beginning with serial number 355300. This revolver is serial number 355387 which is in the .357 production range. In researching, we have observed that there were only around 500 +/- 1st generation .357 caliber revolvers produced pre WWII. Nickel finish with "bone" grips that have the Colt medallion. The finish does show wear on a couple of spots on the left side of the barrel, on the cylinder and on the sides of the hammer. Action functions smoothly. 5-1/2" barrel and bore is strong. Please see the photos! (FFL and/or C&R transfers only for out of state (North Carolina) purchase. )
