Our Assessment:
The Colt Single Action Army, known as ""The Peacemaker,"" remains one of the most iconic and collectible firearms ever made. Second Generation revolvers (1956–1974) represent some of the highest standards of Colt’s craftsmanship, sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This pristine example from 1967 is especially notable due to its dual-caliber versatility (.45 Colt and .45 ACP), vivid case colors, exceptional bluing, and distinctive pearl grips with an engraved Longhorn steer head. The presence of original grips still in perfect condition further adds to its collector appeal.
Remarkably, this revolver shows no cylinder turn line—an indication of extremely limited or careful handling. It represents an ideal investment-quality firearm for Colt collectors or any enthusiast appreciating superb craftsmanship and historical significance.
