with no fuller and characteristic forging flaws in steel. Reddish patina to the guard with single wire wrap to the handle. The grip shows small losses to the leather but is good and a very nice uncleaned patina overall. The scabbard is dark with classic 2 hangers and drag and is right to this sword. Many differences of opinion as to location and make but all agree original and Confederate. Est.: $2500-$5000
