Beginning his training at the age of nine in Derry, Ireland, Dowds won many world competition awards before joining the touring group Riverdance. After you do the reel, slip jig, light jig, the single jig, and the ever popular hornpipe at Fontenelle’s very own Fireside Room, settle in for a traditional Irish dinner. If that doesn’t revive you, the Guinness and Irish Whiskey will.
