Just a short ferry ride across Death’s Door, Washington Island rises out of Lake Michigan to greet visitors to this majestic sportsman’s playground off the northernmost point of Wisconsin’s Door County peninsula. Its sheltered inlets and secluded coves become tempting havens for diving ducks seeking safe waters to raft upon. This unsurpassed opportunity links you with the purist of waterfowlers from generations past. Wait anxiously in coffin-like craft for the sudden appearance of wingtips slightly above the watery horizon or the jet-like sound of locked wings passing unexpectedly through or around your decoy rigs. Work as teams alternating turns between two layout boats and upright blinds. In between hunts, Captain Dave Heath and his crew at Heath Outdoors welcome you to their camp and accommodate your needs with hearty dinner meals, an open bar, and a relaxing atmosphere to reflect on the experiences of the day. This waterfowlers dream hunt includes: 3-nights lodging, Evening dinner meals, open bar, and soft drinks. 2-days diver duck hunting, All guide services, decoy rigs, and boating equipment. Transfers to and from the hunt. Not included in this package: airfare, transportation to and from the airport, hunting licenses and stamps, guns, shells, morning and noon meals, ferry fees (approx. $13.50 round trip per person) and tips. All hunting activities are subject to weather conditions and the safety of the participants. Extra days hunting can be negotiated with Heath Outdoors. Costs associated with these items are the responsibility of the purchaser. This trip is available from October thru November during the 2021 Wisconsin waterfowl season.

If you are the buyer of a firearm please email the FFL license of your local gun store to zbrown@ducks.org.
Buyer will be contacted by Ducks Unlimited within 72 hours of the close of the auction to arrange payment. Payment can be made by check, cash or credit card. Any questions can be direct to Zac via email at zbrown@ducks.org or by phone (225)573-4030. We do not have access to the stored credit card information on Proxibid. If paying by a credit card we will run this payment on a Ducks Unlimited Terminal and email you a receipt of payment.
Due to this auction offering firearms and ammunition, PayPal and Venmo will not allow their platform to be used for collecting payment.

Please note the following auction parameters:
1. Most purchases will ship within 2 weeks of the auction closing.
2. All purchases will carry a 10% buyer’s premium.
3. All firearm purchasers will be notified within 1 week of the auction closing regarding shipment specifics. Firearms will be shipped to the FFL dealer of the buyers choice. The buyer is responsible for notifying the local dealer of his purchase and confirm shipping to their FFL is approved. If no such dealer exists, buyer will be contacted for alternative arrangements. All FFL processing fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
4. All trip buyers will be contacted with trip contact information within 1 week of the auction closing.
5. You must be 18 years or older to participate in this auction.
6. All prices include the cost of shipping.
7. All local, state and federal laws govern the purchase of all firearms and ammo offered in this auction.
8. All proceeds go Ducks Unlimited to fund their conservation mission across North America. DU conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
9. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know what their state laws are regarding firearms.
