FN Browning Hi Power P35 9mm early production 1944! Owned by Colonel Burton Curtis Andrus, US Army, Nuremberg Jailor! As told to Debbie McCann by Richard McCann and Evelyn McCann and many times by Joe McCann. The original owner of this pistol, Curtis Andrus, was in charge of security at Nuremberg prison after WWII, he was responsible for the captivity of prisoners. This was gifted to Colonel Andrus from General Montgomery of the British army who bought it as a gift for the Colonel. Richard's father Joe McCann received this as a gift from the Colonel when he spoke of his admiration of the hi power. In turn this was gifted to Richard. Serial no.
