Item Details
Captorhinus Aguti. Admiral Formation, OK. Lower Permian. Captorhinus was one of the very first reptiles found to be recorded in the fossil record. Permian in age - 280 million years old. An anapsid is a reptile which lacks temporalopenings in the back of its skull. The only living reptiles/anapsids are the testudines, the turtles and tortoises. Captorhinus was a plant eater by evidence by the back teeth which are multi-rowed and suited for crushing leaves ratherthan cutting meat.

In All Cases The Auctioneer Has Final Discretion Over Which Bids To Accept.
