George Clinton signed vellum appointment of John Lamb, dated 22nd, March, 1784, for Collector of the Port of New York, countersigned by Robert Morris on verso, affixed with a wax seal of New York, 14 1/4" x 14 1/4". Non-US purchasers of hunting trophies should check with customs prior to shipping because each country has different rules and regulations.
PAYMENTS – Payment is due in ten (10) days from the date of the auction. Make checks payable to Pook & Pook, Inc. and include your account NAME and BIDDER NUMBER on any payment or correspondence. We will accept cash, personal check, business check, money order, bank wire or cashier’s check. In addition, we accept most major credit cards; however, there is a 3% surcharge to use your credit card for payment. If you need wire instructions, please send an email to billing@pookandpook.com with the subject line WIRE INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED. We do not accept, PayPal, BidPay or Western Union wires. If you are a new client and payment is made with a check or international money order/bank check, we will delay the release of purchases for pick-up or shipping for ten (10) days.
PA SALES TAX - If you intend to pick-up your items at our gallery and do not have a valid sales tax exemption number, you will have to pay 6% PA sales tax. If you are having items shipped out of state, you do not pay PA sales tax. If you would like us to keep your valid tax-exempt number on file, please complete, sign, and return with your payment, PA Tax Form (REV-1220).
